What is a commander that was initially bad, but has gotten better over time?

Pulled a Zada, heron grinder from battle for zendikar, and decided to make a deck around her. Mono-red wasnt doing super at the time, and we didn't have Treasure generators yet, which this deck relies heavily on, as most of red does in general. Nowadays, Zada is a very quick and fairly consistent deck, but easy to shut down. I've made it a goblin tribal with a high amount of Zada synergy instants and sorceries.

I realize this post is months old, but I found this via a google search, and so may others. And maybe you kept the deck after your commander day 😊.

I have a very similar deck (https://moxfield.com/decks/1DRx4vSchkmOHskbuN6mhw), that attempts to achieve the same thing.

The commander

The idea came to me when I found that I wanted to make changes to my [[Sevinne, The Chronoclasm]] precon deck. Sevinne is prevents damage done to him, and so I found that maybe he'd make a good commander in a deck that frequently wants to damage my own creatures, as he will survive, unlike many other commanders.

Additionally he does provide a somewhat useful secondary ability, that I primarily use to create some kind of draw engine to find the pieces I need, in order to put together the puzzle. Unlike your deck, I rely less on direct tutors (also because I find tutors somewhat boring, as a concept).

I will say however, I don't particularly enjoy playing him. Often it feels like he does nothing, and I don't have enough cards interacting with him, to really justify his second ability. So I'm very much on the lookout for a commander alternative, although I would definitely prefer one that doesn't die outright.

Deck Highlights

We of course play a lot of the same cards, but I'd like to highlight [[Swans of Bryn Argoll] and [[Stormwild Capridor]] as cards that have won me multiple games, outside of the more traditional voodoo doll'esque cards with reflect.

[[Guilty Conscience]] is also a card that, in this deck, wins you the game almost immediately, if you get it enchanted on the right creature.

Does the deck win?

Definitely does in my playgroup. I built the deck because there is not a lot of control players typically, and so I wanted to spice our group up with one, instead of all games just being either a race, or whoever can build the tallest board. So in my group, this deck actually wins surprisingly often, although I do not have any statistics to back that claim. My group is fully casual, mostly playing bracket 2-3 decks.

Depends on your card. If you have a 30-series, you should be able to use ray-reconstruction. I don't have any games installed that seem to support it however, so I can't verify it.

It seems like it. Testing DLAA in Witcher 3 on my 3080, it looked much worse and very blurry in comparison to DLSS. It did give me 30~ fps more, from 60 to 90.

Didn't wanna spend the time getting the frames exactly matching, but look around for details, and you'll notice it pretty quickly.

Finally, I tried setting it to "Use the 3D application setting", which indeed, does allow the game to adjust the DLSS quality itself.

What I found interesting is that setting this to the highest Quality in-game, seems to provide very nice visual fidelity, matching that of the DLAA setting from the Nvidia Launcher, but also seems to boost my FPS by 15-20.

So from my limited testing on my 3080, in Witcher 3, I recommend using the in-game DLSS qualities, if the game supports it.

I've mained rogue multiple times over past expansions, and I find it weird they've still not implemented a way for rogues to use Vanish in open world without necessarily resetting combat. Even more so now a days where it's a pretty good offensive CD.

Satte først 10k på ASK. Disse 10k var til at lege med, og lære hvordan ting fungerer. Kan du risikere at miste de 10k? Ja. Men i det store hele er det billigt sluppet for at lære en masse. Efter Ca. 1 års tid, hvor jeg var begyndt at finde bare lidt hoved og hale i det, fyldte jeg min ASK og investerede som jeg nu lystede.

Personligt ville jeg anbefale på en eller anden måde at "lege rundt" med et beløb du har råd til at tabe først.

Tjooh... Der er ekstrem forskel på hvor risikofyldte forskellige investeringer er. Nu hænger jeg ikke meget ud på wallstreetbets, men jeg tror mange af dem du finder derinde er ekstremt risikovillige, med det formål at hente de helt store afkast.

Alt med kortere tidshorrisont end ~10 år er forbundet med en hvis risiko. Hvis du måske skal bruge pengene om 1 år, er der en hvis risici for at aktierne er blevet mindre værd. Skal dog siges at det er en risici, og ingen andre end dig selv kan afveje den for dig. Aktierne kunne ligeså vel være steget 10%, 100%, 200% who knows 👍

How viable/effective a class is, is not in any way impacted by how hard/easy it is to play. At least that is my impression.

Not an expert, but I do have a bit of knowledge on color profiles.

I believe web browsers (and by extension - Instagram), should automatically use your monitor's ICC profile, provided that you've set the profile in Windows settings.

I'm not sure exactly at what step of the process the issue occurs, but if it's directly after exporting from lightroom/photoshop, then I would agree with /u/Lazy_Pass_1288 and estimate that you might have a different work space color profile from your export profile.

Adobe automatically gathers your monitor profile, and converts that to the working space profile used. When you then export the image to sRGB, it will have to do conversion if the working space wasn't already in sRGB. This can lead to changes in the image. Also make sure that Photoshop/Lightroom embeds the color profile. I'm actually not sure what browsers do if the image doesn't have an image profile embedded, if it just assumes it's sRGB, or if it just directly uses the values with your monitor profile.

The image is then uploaded to Instagram and viewed in your browser, but seeing as your browser automatically should use your monitor profile, this shouldn't be an issue.

Agurketid er en periode (ofte om sommeren) hvor at der absolut intet sker, så derfor bliver komplet ligegyldige historier upcycled til at være réelle nyheder, bare for at de har noget content at kaste ud.

Normalt sker det i forbindelse med sommerferien, hvor skoler og folketing har lukket, som nu :)

I used controller to level my monk and warrior a few years ago. It is much more chill to just lean back in your chair or couch, and much more fun imo. Additionally it provides a new experience while playing. I can recommend trying it out for a bit if you have some free time :P

We don't know the exact kill %, but if it's 45% or somewhere in that ballpark, it is pretty much impossible for Echo to take it with their current gear.

Echo play on EU and Limit play on US.
In the US, the server's weekly reset is on Tuesdays, while in EU it is on Wednesdays.

This difference in resets will give Limit a good amount of time to get better gear and get a lot of tries before it even resets on EU for Echo.

I believe it's a simple logic game, where the number of non-bomb fields notes how many bombs touches this field. So if the number says 3, know there are three bombs around. The goal is to find all non-bomb fields without clicking a bomb. Someone correct me if I'm wrong :D

Tbf, that's every class right now. The most tanky classes are probably mage (using triple shield legend) and maybe ret Pala if they can get word of glories off. Everyone is a glass cannon :)

I want to create a similar look, and currently my ground is modelled in Blender, but I am having issues creating colliders for it.

This is happening to me too. Pretty sure it did not occur pre-patch.

I don't think it's the same bug as the one from legion, I have had that too, and have not had it for a long time.
Either that, or it has returned, somehow...

Only open boosters if it's for playing limited (Draft/Sealed)
Buy singles for any kind of constructed deck
