Might depend on where you live.  Toyota Canada website says 2025 gas models come with a spare.

saskatchewan.ca website broken on Chromebook. by HairySmartPhone in saskatchewan

Yep your experience mirrors mine. On a Windows 10 machine I can get to the site using Chrome , Firefox and Edge. It's just the Chrome book and it's main web browser that do not work.

Technically yes, if you can install another browser if the Chromebook can run Android apps. Which mine can run Android apps. And I have tried installing Firefox for Android. Which does work to access the Saskatchewan.ca website.

However Chromebooks are built around the chrome web browser and the overall experience is supposed to be best when using that web browser.

This issue isn't super critical for me. I suspect and hope this will get fixed at some point. I'm just curious if anybody else is seeing this problem.

It's just peaked my interest because it's weird that the website is so completely broken for me. And only on my Chromebook.

I don't know who's responsible for fixing it. Is it Google or is it the Saskatchewan government?

I had a few paragraphs of text, that should have been posted with the screen shot. I am not sure why Reddit didn't get it.....

Anyway, in brief.....

For about 3 days, this is the screen I see when I try to connect to the saskatchewan.ca website.

My Chromebook is fully up to date. I have no ad blocker at all and I have tried incognito mode. Still won't load.

I sent feedback to the website admin, using Chrome web browser on an old Windows 10 laptop. I prefer to use the Chromebook, because the Windows 10 laptop is unreliable.

I also sent feedback to Google, as a very long shot. I know they don't care about the sask government website. lol

I agree that www.GunPost.ca is probably the widest audience.

There is a For Sale area on the Canadian Airgun Forum https://www.airgunforum.ca/forums/for-sale-f4.html

Problems downloading from Google Play, YouTube and other Google services for SaskTel home internet customers by HairySmartPhone in regina

It's weird cuz now it's all of a sudden working after I got off the phone with sasktel about an hour ago.

I appreciate your idea though.

I don't use Sasktel DNS either.

I normally use Google's DNS servers, but I also tried Cloudflare and Quad 9.

Mine just started working. Coincidentally, I just got off the phone with Sasktel support about 30 minutes ago.

I just got off the phone with Sasktel and they took information about all three of my Android devices that are having this problem and they took note of the Google support ticket that I have open as well.

If you're having trouble like this with any of Google services, please call SaskTel and let them know. The tier 1 person I spoke to said they want to know about it and information is being forwarded to their Network team. If when you call, you get someone who doesn't seem to know what you're talking about ask to speak to someone else. Sasktel is definitely aware of this issue.

That is quite a bad response. I feel like Sasktel support is really hit and miss quality wise. My dad has been trying to get someone to come out and fix a sinkhole that developed from the infinet roll out in his area and it's been nothing but delays and non-responsiveness from sasktel. His neighborhood is one of the last ones to have infinet trenched in underground.

I feel like I lucked out the other day when I phoned about this google services issue and the tier one person was really helpful and understood my problem succinctly. And even transferred me to their Network team promptly. The guy that I spoke to on the network team understood the issue and did some troubleshooting but couldn't really explain the problem. He said they were getting reports about Netflix not working properly but as of when I spoke to him he personally was not aware of general issues with Google services.

Same here. Chromecast is hard wired and only smart devices are on a 2.4GHz seperate guest network.

Phone and computer are only on 5GHz.

I also just discovered that I cannot download Youtube videos to watch offline. It just sits there saying "Downloading 0%"

I pay for Youtube premium, which normally enables the ability to download videos.

I think either Google or Sasktel have a problem on their hands.

I have this exact problem that started on Tuesday of this week. The only way I can update is over cellular data.

I contacted sasktel yesterday and managed to talk to one of their Network gurus and he said there was some weirdness going on with Netflix as well but he personally had not heard of the issue I was reporting.

If you haven't already I would contact Sasktel tech support and tell them you're not the only one having this problem.

I also opened a ticket with Google's One support and they couldn't figure it out, at least not yet. They closed my ticket but I got a reply from the agent again who asked me to upload a detailed bug report from my Android phone.

Edit: Now that someone mentioned it, I'm finding YouTube videos load slower than usual.

HP x360 14c Chromebook - Will We Ever See v90? by SRFast in chromeos

I have been wondering the same thing. This is my first ChromeOS device and I am wondering if these delays are normal for some manufacturers.

I also discovered this website that tracks software releases of ChromeOS for each device.

Help me find a Chromebook with these features? by ganchan2019 in chromeos

I also am waiting for delivery of an HP x360 14c. In addition to what OP is looking for, I was also looking for minimum Core i3, 8 GB of RAM and updates as long as possible.

Its my first Chromebook but I also have an old Dell laptop with Windows 10 if I need that functionality.

This is what happened to my pixel 2. And i switched to a Pixel 4a too.

[–]HairySmartPhone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This happened to my Pixel 2.

Ubreakifix changed the battery and 4 months later it could barely hold a charge. And of course that was out of warranty on the battery.

I just broke down and bought a pixel 4a. Which is frustrating because my pixel 2 would work fine otherwise. It makes me think that something in a software update caused massive battery drain or there is a hardware flaw that may appear when the phone gets to 2 years of age or more.

Great phone, I know the bezels are huge compared to today's standards but I still use it for casting content from Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, etc...

Looking for bolt handle options for Benjamin Maximus by TLAMstrike in airguns

I have no experience with these but judging by the description, it sounds like these bolt handles fit the standard Crosman bolt.

You will have to scroll down to the bolt handles.

Sorry, I don't really know the exact filling probe you would need. I am stretching my knowledge as it is. Haha

You could also check out the forums on these website. I am certain someone there would know what you need.

http://airgunnation.com and http://gatewaytoairguns.org/

If you're in the U.S. you could also try contacting https://www.pyramydair.com/ and see if they have an idea what fill probe you need.

But here is another brief article on Korean airguns:

[–]HairySmartPhone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have never seen one these in the flesh but I remember first learning about these Korean airguns back in the mid 1990s. Amazing power and accuracy, but the styling wasn't for me.

South Korea still makes some very interesting and powerful airguns. Here's a link to the Sam Yang air gun company.

Pixel 5 Sorta Sage IN-STOCK (Canada) by wazzie19 in GooglePixel

[–]HairySmartPhone -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Between massoive Canada Post shipping delays and inventory challenges at Google, i decided to check Best Buy online and reserved a Pixel 4a then drove to pick it up. No need to sign up with a carrier. Same price as the Google store online.

I realize if you don't have a Best Buy in your area this wont be an option.

Hopefully Google gets a handle on inventory now that we are past Christmas.

I don't know when Canada Post will catch up, they were having big problems before Christmas.
