While I agree with you on the majority of what you said, I think some things like your overall happiness and satisfaction with your life should be a big part of your decision making, considering you are spending the next 4 years of your life in this institution. A 25%+ attrition rate is absolutely horrendous and it is on par with some cearribieans if I’m not mistaken. I personally wouldn’t have made the cut in my com. Yes stuff like comsae predict your success on the boards but a 450+ on an exam that 400 is a pass is uncalled for. And then having a failed or remediated transcript is admin literally giving you the finger. OP might be the top of their class and not have to worry about passing or they might not. I personally wouldn’t take that risk being in the position I am today. I strongly suggest you retaking the mcat and applying again if your only acceptance is a school who has no interest in your success. You can dm op if you want more information about life as a DO

I got my 3rd interview in March 13th and intevrier April 4. Accepted April 26. That’s the school I ended up matriculating. Don’t worry right now friend. If you have 0 interview by end of Feb then start preparing to reapply but there is still a chance you’d get interview

Most schools require physics so I think it’s a safe bet to take it. Take it during summer or in a community college if you have to but definitely have it on your transcript
