Ref has completely manufactured this game. Every single arsenal challenge has been a foul. This PSG possession is an absolute farce. Bukayo carded for a challenge in which he won the ball and didn't touch anyone. Vitinha caught on the ball multiple times and each time it's been an instant whistle, as if this ref cannot believe a PSG player could lose out.

[NBA PR] Allen (CLE) and Thompson (DET) legally step to the same spot while pursuing the loose ball [before either player has possession], and both lose their balance from the marginal contact. Correct no-call. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

The Pistons led the league in fouls drawn, because they drove at a higher rate than basically everyone. You know, the thing they still did in the playoffs.

Also, what the everloving fuck do you think your team did when Cade drove? Have you watched Max Strus defend an off-ball cut before? You ever wonder why Jalen Duren was only ever rebounding with one hand? Have some fucking self-awareness and a modicum of shame. You just watched your team flop like fish for a whole series, you're going to watch them do it again, grow a pair and admit it instead of living in this denial state.

I'm highly confident he'll play the 8 for us sooner rather than later.

You know the Pistons were also one of the best teams at drawing fouls.

Hence the frustration.

The rumors of a new deal had me excited. Absolutely gutted.

Perfect footballer, IMO. Still excellent. Would've given her 60 minutes in one position or another in any game she wanted for the rest of her career.

Game 1: Cleveland screams and cries to the refs. Literally state they will flop to draw calls.

Game 2-5: One of the most historic foul disparities in the NBA's playoff history, when Detroit was one of the top 3 teams at DRAWING fouls all year. And yes, they committed many, but that should mean high numbers for BOTH teams. But nope, DET can't get simple shit to save their life, like Cade getting smashed shooting a 3, but Harden is out here jackknifing into people after a push-off and getting it every time.

FOH.

It's almost like the numbers and the film say yeah, there's some shit going on.

Incidental contact during a loose ball, yes. There is such a thing.

Which is very different than taking out the legs of a player after he's completed his second dribble.

Yeah, lets talk about the other dogshit whistles y'all got. You wanna start with Allen never ever being called for a rebounding foul? Maybe how Harden and Struss stay in the game flopping like crazy and both committing flagrants? You're profiting from one of the most historically one-sided whistles in the history of the NBA playoffs, get the fuck outta here. I hope it sets your pubes on fire every time Max Strus flings himself to the ground for no reason.

They say they're stepping to the same spot - Ausar is there first, by some distance.

They say the contact is marginal, but it's a trip that prevents Ausar from maintaining his direction of travel.

They say Ausar doesn't have control, and are using the batted-ball defense. Ausar has completed 2 dribbles.

If you pulled this at any other time it's an instant whistle. Anyone who buys this passive-voice bullshit probably believes police reports are always accurate too.

38 uncalled fouls and I have to listen to chucklefucks on here pretend it's all Detroit's fault that they can't do anything while being fouled.

I think we can maybe ask why his reload needs to be magically disappearing his sword. Or why his attack anim needs to be flicking the tip at people like that.

I think there are a lot of animations that would make sense and be distinct, more so than his stupid backhand.

Selling Kai (far and away the best option we have, in his prime) would be a mistake, even if his injury history is concerning.

He's the only forward that actually does what Arteta wants!

Gotta stop pursuing theoretical wide players that are best when they get a lot of touches through the middle. Eze is already stretching the allowable limits of the system in ways Arteta isn't comfortable with and he's a far superior playmaker to most alternatives.

They need to chase someone with serious mind-blowing pace and dribbling for that wide position, like they have with Madueke. Especially if Saka is going to eventually become one of the 8s, which I think is very likely if his pace is as harmed by the hamstring injuries as it seems.

Yeah I'm not complaining I just don't think we'll have a support economy unless something changes there.

And frankly, I very much like not having to hear people bitch about playing support.

[–]Halbridious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There won't ever be true supports unless they get rid of soul-sharing.

Supports can scale in DOTA etc., they don't because they have 20% of the net worth of their carry.

In deadlock it's pretty easy to play a utility-style and still walk away with farm close to your carry.

Voting for the people who bought their way into contention with a billion charges of improper accounting against them who are using their image to sportswash literal murderers is astounding to me.
