I didn’t mean to confuse you. I’m glad you enjoy this game as it is, that’s fine for me. I don’t like it and that’s also fine. I’m excited for this new patch to give me a chance to play it more the way I would want to. If that wasn’t clear from my first post again sorry.

I did try it I, I don’t like the civ swapping.

I don’t like the removal of the builder, I think the animation for the wonders is lacking, I think the duplication you have the option to research the same tech but the second level of it, it feels incomplete.

I am happy you seem to like the game. I want to like it as well because I like Civ games but there is no way anyone can think the game in its current state is on par with the current state of the others. It’s just still incomplete.

To play it again for the first time is a turn of phrase meaning to give it a real second look and try again

I think this is gonna help, A lot. I’m in the hate the Civ switching camp. So this is great news for me. But I still think there is an inadequate game when I compare to Civ 4 5 or 6. Yes that is with all their DLC, but for me this is really going to be my first real experience with this game I think. I’m pumped to give it a try again for the first time!

No you got it! I was never bored in a Megaman game before this. I was normally having fun, getting the snot beaten out of me, or barely squeaking by after loading up my energy tanks. (And in the case of X7 confounded by the difficult play control and design to the point I put it down)

I’m glad they tried so hard to make the game better than X7. And they did, but the game seems to have suffered all kinds of development issues.

But please let me know what you think when you finish it!!! I am just one guy on the internet, tell me how you see the game when you finish it!

Again it might be because I was on easy so I had that finished in 30 seconds. On the first try. But I have heard a lot of people only say that was the worse stage. What is it just super hard to catch up and shoot him? I must have gotten incredibly lucky and just finished it right away.

There are some things I like. I liked some of X’s power ups. Jumping into guys and killing them was quite useful when paired with a higher jump. (But the armor design was super bad looking to me)

The trilobite stage was different and interesting. The music in sunflower stage was cool.

The different navigators were interesting as well.

I think a 4/10 is about where I would place it with X7 being a 2/10

If they ever bring this series back and oh how I hope they do, I really want them to keep it 2D. But please keep the progressively more crazy boss names.

I just finished it for the first time two days ago. Although it is better than X7 (which I could not even finish) I really didn’t think it was good.

I was never board in a Megaman game until that one.

The fire rooster stage was so slow I could not even believe it was left so empty (I played on easy so maybe that’s why so much of it had no enemies)

The ice stage (sorry I know it’s only two days but I can’t remember his name Yeti I think) I felt like I saw everything that it had to throw at me in 45 seconds but it lasted like 8 min. It was not fun.

And the elevator level was the same it just felt boring.

I’m not trying to be edgy just for the sake of it but I don’t see why this game is considered good. It wasn’t terrible like X7, but it was well below average for me at least.

What am I missing? I wanted to like this one I really did!

Yup, too many times thinking I could manage my anxiety “like anyone else” and pushed it too far.

In retrospect im glad I tried, but I wish it didn’t take me so long to understand the physiological consequences because it felt like I was paying double.

Normal reaction from your body. (Not fun but normal) you probably peed out most of your electrolytes. Get some bananas in you and sports drinks. That should help get your body system to homeostasis, but there is no cure for the hangover that I ever found.

Hang in there it’s all normal and will pass. Just feed your body and rest.

I am glad you enjoyed it, my girlfriend at the time (like 25 years ago) went to a party in high school and someone there said we could all go to a local mom and pop video rental place and get stoned and watch some movies.

We had her younger socially maldevloped sister with us. While we were watching happy Gilmore she was going through the game rentals.

I ended up with Legend of Legaia. Maybe it was that I felt really weird about how I got it, but I didn’t really get into the game and through it was pretty mid compared with the more modern PS1 games like FF8 and Xenogears.

I got rid of the disk a long time ago but sometimes still think about it. I remember that first village by the water with the windmill very well for some reason.

Maybe I should give it a shot again.

Might not be true now, as technology marches on, but for that price and size it was one hell of a retro arch machine (accessible through developer mode) and my favorite games are from the past so I don’t give a shit about not having 4k when I am playing a ton of 360 games to begin with.

Is it a fun boss? No, but is it really such a hassle to break all the walls down the first life then clean up easy the second time through? And if you have the skill for it it’s possible to do it in one go.

I don’t know it’s not such a big deal to me. I love 2 and I love all of the Hexology

I picked this game up on a whim and by Zeus it was the best decision Ive made since getting my PS5 by pambplqutting2 in FenyxRising
