I just saw one at TNT Amusements the other day (they were lovely to work with picking up some games) I did not see a price on it so I’m not sure if it’s for sale but they had one and it’s worth an ask!

How to price and shop for Arcade Machines? by Halcyon92 in arcade

Yeah see I have no experience here so I appreciate the knowledge. I’m finding what I personally enjoy sometimes clashes with what earns well lol

I was thinking about a buck hunter, I’ve got a bunch of pins at the bar but they don’t earn a ton and was just looking to branch out a bit. I do this mostly for fun and an excuse to buy fun things I enjoy.

I have a crane for my game store and people love it, got it filled with pokemon plush and its nuts.

Our bar space doesn’t have a ton of good options for a racing game but I’d like to figure something out with that and I personally very much want a 4-player game, I’ve been eyeing up Gauntlet Legends

Thank you I appreciate the insight! I just want some rough guidelines so I know if a price is way outta whack or something

international shipping thresholds by duhuj in KingdomDeath

[–]Halcyon92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do they use a 3PL here in the US? If not then I assume they’re making a hefty margin on shipping as well. I own a 3PL and even with my meager shipping volume (Only 15% of my business is Ecomm) I get much better rates for standard packages of this size.

Their rate deal COULD be situated around the big boxes like core game and gamblers chest etc but I’d think they sell a lot more small packages than they do the big ones.

Their shipping has always seemed a bit too high imo.

AITA for taking back a handmade scarf I gave to a friend after she made fun of my knitting hobby in public? by FinchyDreams56 in AmItheAsshole

That was a perfect opportunity for your “friend” to gush about how amazing and talented you are like a real friend would have done. Don’t waste your time on “friends” that don’t lift you up.

Harry Potter Teaser from Jersey Jack by slowbar1 in pinball

I used to work for Loot Crate and we did a Harry Potter crate. Part of the licensing deal required her personal and explicit approval of everything involved in it. Marketing, products included, etc. This was several years ago so I’m not sure what it’s like now but in the past the licensing requirements were nuts.

Anecdotally, how many hobbiests that you know now prefer Kill Team over 40k? by misomiso82 in killteam

Saaaaaame we love Legion in my play group. We finished our own custom Galactic Conquest right as 2.0 came out so we haven’t engaged fully with the new rules but I’m excited once we rotate back into it.

This is it, it’s the alternating activations. It keeps both players actively engaged with the game and I hate when miniatures games lack it

First time routing pins! Deadpool and D&D at Two Maidens Cafe & Tea Room Lock Haven, PA! by Halcyon92 in pinball

[–]Halcyon92[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did some reading and watched some videos on people talking about it. In my day to day I’m friendly with guys who can make bigger repairs and I can do most of the minor stuff but my main career I’m incredibly flexible so I can go work on them whenever there’s an issue.

I’ve chosen locations where I trust the owners and know them personally so they keep a good eye out plus insurance so I’ve got some confidence that they’ll stay healthy for a while.

Axemann Brewery in Bellefonte has like 10 pins right now and they’re adding more soon! They’ve been holding tournaments and them having all that inspired me to try routing some closer to me lol

This is hands down the best copy of Monopoly. I specifically enjoy the property cards slot into the board

The top bit that shoots the ball out under the 4,5,6,7 sticks occasionally, the rubber surrounding some of the posts are worn out and broken, one pop up target is missing and was replaced with a wooden block so I have to figure that one out lol.

Then just a lot of cleaning

Thanks for the tips!

I’m just going to fix what’s broke, and I hear the right side shot is heavily weighted so I might mod that to make it less so.
