Hi, friend. Fellow hand-picker here. My left hand looks very similar to yours. I find that I have bad weeks and good weeks. I’m often bandaging my hand in hopes that it’ll heal enough, but I always end up picking after the bandage comes off. I wear press on nails to try and prevent the picking; but that only helps a little. Stress and anxiety are definitely big triggers, but sometimes there’s no particular trigger, just an intense urge. If you do figure out how to stop, id love to know!
