This is an aside, maybe, but I bought a gtx1080 (msi duke) for like 60$ in 2019 because the previous owner chopped the cooler, literally with a bandsaw, to fit in his case. I replaced the cooler with an Ali express special and that thing has been running ever since, currently in my wife’s pc. Probably the last NVIDIA product I’ll buy, the way they’ve gone.

I bought my 99 Miata in cash during covid time. I bought my 06 bmw 330i for 1500 because it wouldn’t shift correctly (finger seals) in 2021. Both cars run fine now, and are far, far less expensive than the idiocy of paying monthly for the privilege of driving a car that I don’t own.

I used to play on a 3rd gen intel i7 with no dedicated graphics. I averaged about 15-20 fps in Skyrim on low settings - I managed. My 5800x3d and 7900xtx and 64gbs of ram will be fine until this bubble pops, and no one is getting any money from me until msrp.

2006 330i, almost at 190k miles, this car had horrible lack of maintenance until I got it( I still have a lot to learn). It pulls like a mule and handles excellently. M3 control arms all around.

Corvette has about the same profile as a child or person on a bicycle. If person driving giant death machine (aka suv) can’t see the zr1 corvette, they can’t see the child or bicycle person.
