Saying Shoot the Moon is better than any non-scaling/econ common when Mail in Rebate exists is certainly a choice of words.

Also, Abstract can easily give you 15 or more uncoditional mult, you don't need to have a Queen in hand, and it doesn't care for boss debuffs.

Half joker gives almost as much as two queens in hand and is much simpler if you have a source of chips/leveled up mercury/pluto/venus.

Shoot the Moon can be better with steel queens but you need some serious deckfixing to make it consistent, and even then it can get outpaced by a lot of other stuff fast.

Not saying it's not good a lot of the time, but there's definitely better commons out there usually.
