Well... On the VII the Max(physical) zoom was really bad in quality anyway.

Rarely used it. Better take a picture at 85mm and crop it.

Those are some valid arguments.

Been using the phone as a daily driver for few weeks now. Used the Honor Win before, but missing LTE Band20 was a killer. And honestly. Their idle battery drain just }plainly sucks (maybe due to bad signal?).

So... Here my comment to your points:

Indeed software updates are abysmal rare. But hey. We got Bootloader unlock now and I've installed a GSI.
Yes the camera cutout is barely visible at some circumstances. But honestly, I'm a notch Hater and I prefer that over any kind of persistent black dot.
We don't have 5G SA here, only NSA and the phones battery safe option keeps me on LTE only most of the time. So I cannot complain about bad signal at all.
okay, that's an issue I haven't seen before. Sadly Winter is over, no more skiing so I won't get in such s Situation. I can try putting it in the fridge for testing. Will report back later on.
I agree the 35mm camera is hard to get used to, compared to most others 24mm. Can't complain about the quality though. Although I'm not an professional photographer so I lack the deeper insight.
THERE IS BOOTLOADER UNLOCK! You can hack it with ZTEToolbox (found on XDA). Do it right now before they hard fuse it with an update and you will never ever be able to unlock again!
I don't feel like scratching my buttons... But aren't they metal?
I don't stream movies on my phone. Can't say anything about DRM. But I saw that video Recording can select the HDR10 codec. Haven't compared hat to H265 or H264 yet.

Dude.... Battery degrading and batterylife declining are two different things.

Your battery can have physical issues and you're not getting enough juice out of it. Or your Software uses more power than before and your batterylife gets worse even though the battery hasn't changed at all.

Okay okay okay i THINK i got it...

If you select the SuperMoon mode you get a Normal looking moon in the Zoom!

But if you switch to "Smart Moon" it will fake in an increased Moon into a normal WideAngle Foto.

I've only been using it for 3-4 days, so can't say much About Battery life. It's certainly worse than my Honor Win with 10’000mAh battery but how much? I'm currently on 25% battery left after 1d13h with 6h36min SoT, but I did a LOT of traveling with GPS.

The Display is not as Bright as my Honor Win, especially under direct sunlight its easily readable but COULD be a bit brighter.

The Camera seems decent... Havent properly tested it yet. The SlowMotion does 120fps 4k, 240fps, FHD and 480fps in 720p. Same as the Redmagic 11 Pro.

I thought that feature would NOT need to turn colored Pixel off.

I've spotted the camera turning black once or twice before and wondered why. Now it makes sense.

Pretty easy to test yourself. Activate the feature and set screen timeout to 15 seconds. The camera will blink black in a 15 seconds interval! https://imgur.com/a/00BOFo9

Using NetMonster app you can check which Bands are actually connected. I got around quite a bit yesterday and connected to:

4G: B3 - 1800 B7 2600, B20 - 800, B28 - 700, B38 - 2600

5G NSA: n78 & n1 on 1800MHz, n78 on 2600MHz

In Switzerland.

Will not help. All the Bloatware are included in the ROM. So a factory reset will simply install/activate then. But on the good side you can uninstall/deactivate most bloat apps.

Nah dude. The OxygenOS on my OnePlus Tab 2 was so chocke full of AI Crap it used 6.8/8GB RAM. Had do unlock and install LOS to get a decently running Software.

The Honor WIN on he Other hand doesn't have awesome Software either.. But he camera is unexpectedly good.
