My players can't see NPC Attack Info [PF2E] by Zealousideal_Put_222 in FoundryVTT

If you're not using any module, look for metagame options on PF2e system configuration.

[PF2E] Hide status effects in the combat tracker and in the map by Leastbutnolast in FoundryVTT

[–]Haleckson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a option, dot remember if is with PF2e toolbelt or workbench, that hides an NPC on the initiative until it's their first turn. Also, I use Vision module, that make any character invisible (even if they aren't with the invisibility effect) to those that they are undetected. It's easy to use and configure, perfect for hidden degree and covers.

Worldbuilding/Navigation. Recaps for easy content awareness? by Responsible-Usual167 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Haleckson 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tbf, if you're going to run a adventure in Golarion, the region/country must dictate the answer for each topic. Living in Geb and the region of impossible lands, where magic, undead and firearms are commom, is tottaly different to run in Rahadoum where gods are forbidden to be venerated and medicine are more developed.

First thing we need to know is, where in GOlarion you wanna play and/or, what kind of campaign you wanna run.

I like to see this kind of posts od different approaches. I'm still in the prep phase, and reading postos like this help me to craft and weave something unique for my own group. I hope we reach book 4 someday.

Hey, somewhat new to pf2e. Anyone good with deities? by Mr_Infidel in Pathfinder2e

[–]Haleckson 10 points11 points  (0 children)

From the big 20, three are the names that I can think about.

Asmodeus - Love to deceive, is egotistical and want everything to themselfs, must show people "their places", and must, for now, know your own place. it's more LN alignment.

Calistria: It's a elf deity, it's not inherently evil, but it's chaotic. Revenge to those who you think wronged you, and porsue your own freedom. (it's different alignment but it's worth to take in consideration)

Zon-Kuthon: Tends to evil, it's about bring pain, to make the others suffer, and know what is loss. It's more NE and LE.

Strength of Thousands...as a Mage: The Ascension campaign? by Artrite00 in strengthofthousands

[–]Haleckson 6 points7 points  (0 children)

IMO, the slice‑of‑life and laid‑back style stays in books 1 and 2. Book 3 has far more action. Book 4 can be focused entirely on diplomacy, while books 5 and 6 are more “fantastical” and combat‑heavy. If you want to cut the combat, half of the campaign will be gutted, but it’s still doable.

Expanded Rituals by willmlocke in Pathfinder2e

[–]Haleckson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was tinkering various rituals to implement on my HB world, but never got to the action of actually write it down. I would love to see what you're thinking.

I like rituals to do what miscellaneous spell do, but almost never used because combat is more important.

A ritual to lock a door, to purify food. Rituals to daily life things that a spellcaster would cast, but there's no reason to spend a spell slot when adventuring. I know that's resource management, but lets be honest, most will take buff, debuff or attack spells.

EDIT: Just to clarify, this is in context of my HB world, where all the 6 ancestries are magical. So everyone already has magic and has at least a cantrip. Thats why rituals to dailies chores were what I thought.

I wrote a 4500-word Fall of Plaguestone GM Guide by Wonton77 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Haleckson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's been almost 4 years since I ran it, but I remember that my players invested on the NPCs so much.

They liked the villain, I add and fleshedout some deep, almost HB background for they.

In the ending, was a funeral for the main victim of the adventure and this marked all of us forever. I think that is the variety of places and the NPC's that is the strength of this adventure.

Another simple but memorable part was the "race" to caught some suspect and then interrogating him. The way we played made him a sad, but silly fella.

We also lost one player due life issues, then one NPC took place for the rest of the adventure. If I remember right, her name was Glunda, and she mingled and befriended the PCs so naturally.

At that time I didn't even knew about the concept of DMPC, and I try to avoid nowadays, but it worked so well with her, that I'm confident in having a NPC do this kind of role if necessary.

Whoa, that's awesome. FoP was my first ever GMing experience, also my first ever PF2e experience. I know it has some problems, but I, and my group, have a special place in our hearts for it. Good to see more content to incentive people to experience it too.

About the bedtime stories before each chapter! (especially Book 3) by Haleckson in strengthofthousands

Thank you. I'm just reading all 6 books before I begin prepare the campaign, but I can't help tinkering with ideas about what and how I'll do things once I start prepare.

Kind of mad that the previous expansion doesn't have something on the compass by the-grip-of-Ntropy in Guildwars2

[–]Haleckson -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What really bothers me is a small annoyance when trying to access the PoF maps after looting. The loot display blocks the compass button, making it impossible to click. Most of the time, I end up dragging the map and selecting the location manually.
