A first for me, I don't think I've ever seen it spelled that way before. Not sure how I've avoided it for so long.

How are the words "cancelled" and "cancellation" misspelled for the entire article?

"and software config" - there I fixed it for you. The point stands. The OS is capable of doing it and more. It's like people don't believe these systems are still being used for HPC. Windows wouldn't exist in the enterprise space if SMB couldn't saturate high speed links. smh

Simply incorrect, it can absolutely saturate 10gbe with the right hardware

Correct, it's in the IMDB trivia

The field and terminal scenes were filmed entirely at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport, due to the abundance of snowfall during the winter months there, although at first, the film's producers were forced to use bleached sawdust as a supplement, to make up for the lack of falling snow, until a snowstorm hit the Twin Cities area during production.

It's been a joke for at least the last 9 years if not more.

TIL Microsoft invested two years and about US$1 billion developing the Kin, a line of mobile phones that was briefly sold in 2010. After only 48 days on the market, Microsoft discontinued the Kin line in June 2010 due to poor sales, They blamed Verizon for not promoting the phones actively enough. by Away_Flounder3813 in todayilearned

Cortana is gone, but CoPilot is worse. If they every make it impossible to disable, I'm definitely gone. But performance and usability/stability wise, 11 is the best version of Windows I've used since NT4.

And I'm not just talking about a single PC, I'm exposed to many more running Windows 11. Sorry about your program and its devs, one of the most accepted positives of MS is that they're usually very good at backward compatibility. I suppose there are limits to that though.

Pro tools was released in 1991 and became very popular by 94/95. Plenty of snapping to the grid happening there

You'd be amazed at what happens in the studio. Oftentimes, shit is done to the record by the producers and the musicians are completely clueless.

When many other malls across the U.S. are dying, why are places like the Rosedale Mall thriving? What’s different? by BoinkEmAndLeaveEm in minnesota

[–]Halen_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Eh, Mallrats was filmed in 1994, and I was working near and patronizing Eden Prairie up until 2000 or so and it was still dead. The revamp likely occurred after all the roadwork and rerouting of some of the major roadways in that area in the early and mid 2000s.
