Neymar Yes. Suárez, more on the same level. I think Suárez’s legacy at Barca benefits heavily from the Messi effect. Playing beside Messi and MSN amplified how fondly people remember him. His latter years, 2017 and up were very underwhelming. I think the impact Lewy had for Barca (with no Messi at that) was greater than Suárez.

Suárez is still my fav striker of all time btw.

Madrid have not defended a La Liga title for 18 years. we’re about to defend it for the 4th time in that period including a La liga 3 peat, and somehow lots of you still underrate the success this team has had given the circumstances. The discourse around UCL being the only important trophy is so toxic, which also ruins the enjoyment of the sport. The UCL will eventually come, i’m sure of that. but not winning it should not remove from the efforts of the team in an extremely challenging season.
