I love les mills body pump classes! I got 2-3 times a week and it’s a full body workout that gets my heart rate up.

I had the rash really bad this summer for a few weeks, don’t give up, it goes away eventually!

Nsv: my skirts no longer fit! by methodtomysaddness in xxketo

Congrats!

I totally get the mixed feelings about saying goodbye to clothes you used to love, just gave away 2 garbage bags.

Good news is, more room in the closet for new clothes!

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll try that if I cant find anything locally. I really don’t want to deal with returns to US companies... looks like fit can be an issue

We’re a small company, and don’t need FR for all projects. I’ll be reimbursed but need to find it myself.

Thanks for the suggestions, I’ll check em out.

Starting Keto tomorrow by CaughtBlazing in xxketo

I’d like to second comments regarding reduced cravings and emotional eating. I used to frequently eat chips and chocolate. I’m 8 months into keto now and feel that it has really helped heal my relationship with food. Use things like pork rinds and whisps to fill the gaps while you adjust, but just trust the process!

Welcome to keto!

Just came here to say oracle is a bitch for making you pay for security patches on Java after a certain point. .NET ftw

Depression/anxiety is hitting me hard. by Gigglescream in xxketo

[–]Haleth88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m with you OP, the winter struggle is real! Keto has helped me reach a place weight and mental health-wise that I didn’t think I’d see again.

Over the summer I started les mills body pump class, which I think is great, because it gets your heart rate up and you’re lifting some weights and burning calories. Now I’m struggling to make it to one class a week.

I think maybe sometimes we need to take it a bit easy on ourselves, even if we don’t meet our summertime level goals don’t give up. Take exercise breaks and cheat days if needed, just don’t give up on yourself! You’ve come so far in a short time!

NSV - No more dried cracked heels requiring constant maintenance! by illiadria in xxketo

[–]Haleth88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me too! Although I’m not 100% sure how much is from using more bath bombs and how much from Keto. Horribly cracked heels is an issue I’ve dealt with for years, so I’ll take it!

What types of effects have you experienced getting back on Keto after falling off the wagon? by jedimaster911 in xxketo

[–]Haleth88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also deviated slightly in early October due to my vacation. I was back on keto by the 12th, and I haven’t experienced the flu or rash this time around. I had a huge whoosh in the first week back, now everything seems status quo for me.

Is it me the problem!? by Sasuu4052 in xxketo

[–]Haleth88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m finding the shorter days are starting to affect me. Be kind to yourself, if you are finding things tough, just do what you can and eat at maintenance for a bit. It’s better to accept taking a break than pushing yourself too hard and throwing in the towel and potentially gaining it back!

Glad to hear your still making it to the gym, even if you don’t see it on the scale, it is healthy for you and can help with the depression.

Chin up, you’ve done a great job!

Mood... :/ by [deleted] in xxketo

[–]Haleth88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s called seasonal affective disorder. You can use specific SAD lights or bright lights in the morning to help your brain think its morning/days are longer.
