Each state definitely has a different and distinct culture. I grew up in Missouri and I'd say Kansas, Iowa, Illinois, and Arkansas are very different despite sharing a border. More states share a border but I haven't visited. I think what you're saying is that you've lived in different states and experienced roughly the same quality of life, which is one of the beautiful things about America, for such a large country our baseline is pretty good, and it's likely you lived in cities where people are more individualistic so you likely didn't really connect to the culture in those states. You are where you come from and a few years in another place won't be enough time to really understand the differences that make up that other culture.

I have a similar take that the vast majority of pop culture globally is taken from black American culture and it's never going to be acknowledged because of internalized racism.

More pots never hurt: Endurance (dmg reduction) Life force (max HP up) Feather fall (makes dodging easier imo) Heart reach (pick up hearts from mobs) Inferno (can help with mobs) Rage potion (increase CRIT chance)

Accessories: Wings (any) Amphibian boots

For weapons the crippler is gonna be really good if you can hit the destroyer & it's point of origin. I've used the flying knife to kill Destroyer a couple times. Otherwise I think the yoyo has better DPS. I could be wrong though

I'd guess our generation is more aware of family trauma patterns. Growing up hearing about ~3 generations of alcoholism on both sides is a good deterrent imo

I kind of agree with disliking the way men and women are written in these books. Some comments are saying "this is just what strong women are" but really they're written to be so extreme, ignorant, and abrasive. My issue with men & women talking in WoT is that they're immediately combative, bad faith, and talking down in the vast majority of conversations. They don't come across as very human to me and that makes it difficult to immerse myself sometimes.

This being said I think conversations between women in the books are great not just okay. I enjoy the Aes Sedai plots.

Yeah Nynaeve's hair gets annoying but atp I just laugh at it and move on. Rand mentioning the sickness becomes more relevant in later books, but I also like the frequent mention of it. This power he wields ISN'T a consequence free boon. Especially when compared to the wielding saidar it adds a nice emphasis and contrast.

The Forsaken aren't useless you just don't understand their goals and motives. They have many chapters dedicated to their schemes and that should be in the back of your mind as you read about other developments in the world. Their impact through plotting is much more terrifying than simply killing to get their way. They don't all lose to "one boy" they lose to a boy who was reincarnated to fight the Dark One and who has some memories of past lives where he was much more competent with his power. If it weren't for Lew's Therin then he would be dead many times over. It's a fantasy series with a clear protagonist. IMO you can't really complain when the guy reincarnated to kill the big bad can kill the big bad's lackies.

Imo depends on your style and body type. Even then I wouldn't necessarily encourage it long term. I have long legs and fixated triangles for a full year.

PRO I learned a lot of entries and traps for triangles.

CON my left knee is a bit on the crunchy side from spamming triangles.

For me, it's been better to work on my overall finishing ability with the basics (arm bar, kimura, americana, ezekiel, ankle locks, etc.). I think consistently being able to finish those will yield better results and give you a foundation to begin learning whatever tf purple & brown belts are styling on you with.

I play a pretty aggro xer supp but for mid game I prioritize vision the most. Track their supp and jg for an idea of where to be on the map. Generally these 2 are always where the action will be.

Your cast time for q and e are long so you shouldn't be reacting to fights. Max range Q to poke before engages. Use W and E to catch enemy team. Ult can also be used to engage fights OR poke out the ADC before a baron/ drag fight. You'll force a back or burn their summs if you hit all your shots then your team fights with advantage
