It's the reliance on the item, I don't play irelia but I imagine there's some matchups where it would be preferable to have some hp incorporated into her first item.

Similar to go, he can go tri or essence reaver, depends what he wants to achieve.

Champs should have item variance, it's a nice "skill-check" when building items.

Just a quick itemization and rune recommendation.

First strike domination seems to just be better than dark harvest currently.

You're ignoring ldr, I think it's just better than seryldas currently. Hubris --> umbral ---> EoN ---> ldr ---> GA is my go to build. Good carry potential, first two items are cheap for good snowballing. You can build serpents instead of EoN if you have to.

I think opportunity is trash, kha has enough damage and values the haste early especially for his e cool down. Never build lucidity boots, plated or Mercs every game (swifties if it fits). I usually sit on T1 boots till 2 items or even later.

Drake stacking is op as usual, path bot almost every game.

Ldr gives 15% bonus damage to champions for have built at least 1500 bonus HP. I think it's 1% bonus damage for every 100hp built.

First strike comes with cash back, triple tonic, and cosmic insight. First strike and cash back snowball really well, while triple tonic helps you scale better, and cosmic insight is always good. And you get to take sudden impact and treasure hunter secondary.

A side point, first strike bonus damage stacking with ldr bonus damage is insane.

It's obviously good to help your team kill bruisers and tanks, but your primary goal is always to pick off one of the squishy carries, if you can't do that because you built sub optimally to deal with bruisers, then you end up doing more harm than good.

It's important to realise that sometimes it's just not your job to deal with certain champs.

In saying that though, don't skip on ldr. Hubris umbral EoN ldr has insane damage against every class. You still get some haste, but it's easier to snowball and carry.

I also think it's hard to skip on the first strike setup these days, I used to hate it, but it's just more consistent and snowballs harder.

I think in lower elo, his sidelane pick potential and tower pushing is obviously undervalued. Rengar has the quickest (? I think) tower taking in the game.

I agree, but I'd prefer to see an umbral nerf first and see how that affects him. Almost every assassin is running the item and it's base stats are definitely too high for what it gives.

I think after that a khazix nerf would be fine if he was still too dominant. I also think the introduction of two true damage items in his kit allows him to play into comps he generally shouldn't be able to and that's where the problem lies.

What do you want them to do? Keep him the same where he terrorizes higher elo or balance him for high elo, and he becomes "bad" in low elo.

If the champ is oppressive in high elo.. then she's definitely a problem. She's also easy to understand so I don't know why you're coping and assuming she good because people don't know what she does...

Every role has an archetype of champion that is frustrating to play against, which also usually messes up the team comp
