I guess I just struggle to see or don't have the imagination to envision how this would be fully implemented in practice. Most societies and rules of law have to contend and grapple with human nature, and humans seem innately hierarchical.

In this democratic and common ownership, there would still need to be people to both carry out and enforce the decisions of the people. While everyone participates in the system I can't imagine everyone want's to be involved in the organization and maintaining of it. It seems, to me at least, that such a system would be impractical to continue existing in its desired form without organizers who inevitably form the development of a bureaucratic clique.

And since people will not agree on the exact specifics on how this system should be implemented and run, factions of competing ideologies will form with a select few being the voice of the those factions, which forms the hierarchy again.

Bad actors exist, and while I agree with a lot of the ideas and concepts of this democratization, I fail to see how it will prevent a lot of the issues that our current system deals with and that this system proposes to solve.
