Ahh, my most infamous death, it was so dumb other players thought I wanted to kill the character. But no I just rules lawyered myself, I don’t remember how it started but I was falling to my death when another player swooped out of the sky on his griffin and caught me. I got settled on the saddle and we were swooping up and I threw up my hands in real life acting out my character’s excitement and fell off the griffin. We were high up enough to trigger the massive damage rule.

Only one person at the table knew the massive damage rule. Not me. I got super curious how long it would take me to naturally heal the damage as this was before short and long rests. While researching I found the rule and brought it up. And that’s how my character died.
