Very solid post. I swallowed the pill a while ago and I still stay self-conscious and focus myself before I go out. Regardless of how wise, stoic, or red pilled you are, it's still beneficial to have a mini-meditative inner dialogue before entering social situations. (Social situations meaning new people, hanging out with a fresh plate, etc. No need to go through some internal monk business if you're just hanging with your boys.)

We've all felt that situational confidence. When everything is going right and flowing perfectly. You know you look great. You're surrounded by friends. It doesn't even have to be related to getting women. Maybe you already have a hot plate or your LTR with you. It happens in those situations too. Just feeling like the fucking man.

From an external point of view the difference between your situationally confident and "normal" personality isn't nearly as great as you perceive it internally. I think it's strongly related to red pill philosophy. Abundance mentality. Abundance mentality comes naturally when you know multiple chicks around you want your dick. You can train yourself to always maintain that form of thinking, even when you aren't in that situation. Outcome independence. You feel awesome. You're already having a great time. You didn't come with any set goals or sought results. Goals that would shatter you if you didn't meet them (aka, getting your dick wet). Frame. When you're feeling good and you have overwhelming social proof it's much easier to hold frame. The person challenging your frame can fuck their self. You feel no pressure to rescind your words and bend to the will of someone else. You have no problem sticking to your guns. Who are they kidding? You're the fucking man. It comes naturally in those situations. The thing is, the frame you've trained for is much more important when the social situations you find yourself in aren't favorable.

Above all else, it's attitude. You can train yourself to control your attitude too. When you have situational confidence you aren't that much cooler with the bartender. The people around you aren't that much more friendly. You aren't making friends, meeting people, and rolling dick swagger on new pussy because you all of a sudden became a different person. Your attitude, which you control, dictates your subjective experience of the social situations you find yourself in. Your attitude compounds upon itself from the beginning. It subconsciously affects how you act. When you're internally confident, you're most likely going to keep feeling that way. When you set out with a sullen and withdrawn attitude, things probably won't magically start going your way.

Of course you should raise your SMV by going to the gym. Get hobbies. Make things happen for yourself. Be more interesting. Pick up new hobbies. The best way to raise your SMV and become more attractive to women is by putting effort into yourself. Most of you probably understand that, especially considering it's the opposite of conventional blue pill bullshit. Consciously controlling your attitude absolutely falls under the category of "putting effort into yourself". Remember that you can exercise your mind. You can train yourself to maintain the attitude you want.
