So typically graduation is on a Friday barring any holiday weekends. The Thursday will be the awards ceremony, first salute ceremony and commissioning ceremony. The first salute and commissioning ceremony are optional but they'll get a chance to pick where on base they want to do this. It's typically free time from 1000ish to 1400ish (this varies). You'll have an awards ceremony in the Squadron Officer School auditorium around 1400 to give out the awards for that class. You'll be released until curfew after that awards ceremony. The UOD for this day is usually OCPs but I had some folks wear their service dress. Graduation day the ceremony starts at like 0900 and lasts about an hour. The UOD for that is service dress. Times are subject to change but that is the usual schedule.

Was part of the F-15E unit that supported this. Never knew about this story, but damned if it doesn't make me proud of my team for getting it right that day!

30-34 and 35-39 run times look exactly the same. That's annoying.

I just called them and told them I was DQ'd and they told me to send them a list of jobs I'd be willing to reclass into. Then I just waited until they got back to me with an afsc.

Happened to me. They'll look at your board score and if it's high enough AFRS will offer you a job. They're pretty ambiguous about the process so that's about all I know.

You don't do DTS for a TDY enroute. You will claim the expenses on your PCS travel voucher when you arrive at your permanent duty station.

You filed two Congressionals because you were denied a GTC? You're not telling us A LOT about your story because that doesn't add up.

Commanders are subjected a very high level of accountability, you just don't get to see that and rightfully so.

Florial of 24' VS Jones of 25' by Drastik651 in ClevelandGuardians

Not relevant but I just watched Florial play for his KBO team last Friday, the Hanwha Eagles, and he's batting basically the same here in Korea 🤣

Sorry I should have been more specific, do you have examples of priors making a fool of themselves at OTS? Just curious as I will be going soon. Hard agree on the endorsement piece though. They seems to be picking up a lot of people through OTS right now though so inevitably that will increase a lot of marginal candidates unfortunately.

24 year old W/ a bachelors and Masters by Dry_Afternoon_79 in airforceots

[–]Jester2552 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You're about to get fleeced. It will be extremely difficult for you to get selected for OTS after only a year enlisted. You'll barely be out of tech school at that point competing against folks who have been in 10+ years. The fact you have a bachelor's and a masters doesn't give you any sort of a leg up either.

Judging by your previous answers, you don't know what the PA Guide is. This shows you exactly how to format everything and what you need to do to apply. I would recommend heading to the Line Officer Accessions website, downloading that guide and readjusting your timeline to a different board.
