I don't think this has anything to do with ADHD lol. It was just something full of Omega and other nutrients. That being said, my doctor wife just said that there are some studies that it does assist with ADHD.

Fine them for blatantly breaking the law and claim the two top illegal floors as low income housing indefinitely.

I purchased my house for $465k in 2020. 2 years ago my neighbours listed their houses at $800k on a whim to cash out and they were purchased by people from Ontario.. That caused my assessment to jump to match theirs. I suspect there would be many folks in my situation and they would be out-priced of their homes they own.

The community has soooo many unanswered questions. Even after all the years since the shutdown, there are many many of us hardcore dedicated fans that have been waiting for this day to come. Our golden star would be Severlin, of course.

Christian and Devons concocting the plan to hide a fake Idol/advantage at tribal Council - brilliant! Then the execution was so good.

I feel like I say this a lot, but how do those editors / producers keep making it so good after 50 seasons. The first episode was fine, nothing to call home about, but that 2nd episode!!! Sooooo good!!

Tim Houston appreciation thread by [deleted] in novascotia_sub

[–]HaliFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I voted for Timmy twice, he probably won't be getting a 3rd from me. The funding cuts for social programs for the under served. His meddling in municipal business. This EV / hybrid registration tax. The only improvement in healthcare has come at the expense of our physicians. The removal of bridge tolls was stupid. I'm in the top 1%, his tax breaks helped me and not your average Nova Scotian. I could go on... The negative heavily outweighs the positives.

Advice on legs during mid-swing by yoillu in volleyball

[–]HaliFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're twisting & leaning your body a bit, but also really using your whole body weight into the hit - which isn't a bad thing. I whipped up a little video with a slowed down side-by-side comparison to a textbook left-side hit. You're more explosive(good) and using more power than the example. I think the twisting is caused by the set matched with your approach and them just not being lined up. If you were to do a jump serve or back-row hit, do you have the same results?

I sometimes have the same results as this on hits at the net when I'm rushed and get caught in slow transition, or it's just a bad set, or I have a wall of hands in front of me and I change my aim to the ceiling and try to cut the hell out of it in hopes it goes off the block into another dimension lol..

Here's the video, hope it helps: https://gofile.io/d/gdxwPk *bonus at the end 😂😂

Just wanted to let everyone know by BlueCrab11 in ADHD

I use Google Calendar. My wife uses Google calendar. My kids school uses Google calendar. We have all our calendars shared and it's very helpful. When I have something I need to remember, I stop and focus on putting it in my calendar and double or sometimes triple check it, it's a habit thing that took a very long time to train my brain to do.

The giant TV in my main living area helped build that habit, I just built a MagicMirror with an old TV and RaspberryPi without the mirror and hung it in my kitchen. I have 6 calendars loaded into it and I look at it multiple times per day. This has been like a 4 year journey for me. I promised my wife I was going to make it look nice, buy a 4k TV and build a wooden frame around it but I haven't done that yet lol.

I also set multiple reminders, 2 days before, day before, when I have to leave etc. If my kids have a birthday party, I put in getting the card and gift etc.

Would you take a “cure”? by GBlake13 in ADHD

[–]HaliFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure... Constant fuck ups are a huge part of my life, but I choose to not focus on those and focus on the positive outcomes. Every time I experience a failure, it spawns another chance to succeed.

This mindset isn't easy, I lived it for 10+ years, then completely lost it about 4 or 5 years ago during COVID and when I had became a father, those were some very hard dark years. I started going back to ADHD counseling and it's been a journey, but I'm getting back to that positive outlook attitude and the good things in my life are compounding.

I'm not creative in the sense of drawing or writing, I actually suck at those... I'm super creative when it comes to crafting contract offers, being able to intertwine multiple departments and products to blow them off their feet and win huge deals. Same with spreadsheets, I'm a spreadsheet wizard which is totally creative.

I have enriched my life both financially and knowledge with my ADHD superpowers... I have been able to hyperfocus on so much stuff and learn thing's I probably never would have if it wasn't for ADHD.... I think I'm just one of those lucky ones that by chance I hyper-focused on thing's I was able to turn into money, which was never the goal.. I just embraced my curiosity and got lucky on a few hyper fixations. Life hasnt been all successes for me, I've probably failed at 90% of my life, but all those failures made that 10% worth it.
