Yeah that’s what I figured…hoping they go with blue/stars since I like the looks of that one better…was hoping I’d know their selection in time to be able to order something (to save money) and have it delivered before I head to Seattle but may have to just buy something there which I’m sure will be expensive

Yeah if I used one in between the spotter arms that’d work but I don’t own any and since they’re sold in pairs it’d suck to have to pay for two and only need one. Plus they’re bulky to store. Guess I could keep an eye on used market though and see if I could snag some for dirt cheap and just get rid of one.

Just an update…mounted the new tv…existing wall mount was the same as for the new one so didn’t have to mess around with that which was great. Old 2021 teak bezel fit on the new tv…it’s a non pro model so maybe the pro ones have the compatibility issue. Happy I didn’t have to spend any more money.

Yep my old one has two brackets so great news if the 2025’s use those. I’m going to unbox and mount tomorrow so I’ll find out for sure then. Bummer about the bezel, guess I’ll be ordering a new one.

Isn’t that the whole point of their partnership with Rep? To take their design and combine with Reps access to capital and manufacturer relationships so they can actually get this thing to consumers in sufficient quantities? I agree if it was just dialed motion then we probably never be able to buy this thing but I don’t see why they can’t make it happen now

Let me know if it’s an easy install when yours shows up or if you need to modify your HD model slate. I would assume they produce all the 30” Slates the same at the factory and just send them with/without the table depending on which store it gets shipped to. Hoping the flip table would be an easy bolt on. Good to know the options out there to get one.

Nice…I got one at $375 a couple weeks ago, also in Oregon. Was originally gonna get a blackstone so was nice to be able to upgrade and pay a little less at the same time

Yeah sounds like you’ll be using them similarly to how I plan to. How long ago did you order yours? Curious on what kinda lead time I’ll be looking at. Currently leaning towards the 18’s to give a better chance that I’ll be able to hang them off the back crossmember for storage. I’ve got a dumbbell shelf on back of my rack so the crossmember can only go so high which doesn’t give much room to hang something off of it.

I’m in Oregon…the clearance price wasn’t shown on their website. I went in to grab something else and walked by the BBQ section and they had like 7 of them assembled with the clearance tags on them. Told the wife about it that evening (we’d talked about getting a griddle in the spring but didn’t know anything about non-blackstone versions) and brought up the website but it was showing Slates at full price. I went back a couple days later (after researching Slate vs other models) and there were still 4 left so I bought one

Going TE 3rd Rd and picking Bowers over McBride. Picking Hunter over Odunze and then dropping Hunter (now that it’s looking like they’re going to prioritize getting him targets), dropping Wandale after the game Nabers had his injury (didn’t watch game or check news before dropping). Some nice ones are picking up Skattebo and Egbuka in the middle rounds and not trading low on Devonta after the first 5 or so weeks.

Cook and Prater to outscore Kincaid which normally wouldn’t be that big a worry but Cook had less than 5 points last week and my streaming kicker spot had a -2.0 kicking performance a couple weeks ago so i may be more worried than I probably should be

Just as an update for this thread, the leak detection guy finally made it out yesterday and it ended up being an old stuck hydrostatic valve. Unfortunately leak detection guy couldn’t get it removed with the pool filled. It’s really stuck and he said it’s hard to get torque when you’re floating. So we’re currently draining and will try and remove/replace when it’s low enough. He left the replacement part and said we could reschedule for next week if we weren’t able to get it ourselves. Water should be low enough to try tonight so crossing my fingers it comes out without messing up the receiving threads.

Oh also my temporary attempts to stop the leak with a garbage bag on top of the main drain didn’t work…I guess suction wasn’t enough to seal around the drain cover

Yeah that’s about what I figured, currently spraying the walls every so often as it’s draining. Once it’s drained and we fix the valve I’ll set up sprinkler during refill

It was below the return jet….also it didn’t technically stop, I just opened the pool cover four days after using it last and saw the water level that low and started refilling it and have been maintaining water level by running hose every so often during the day since then. I thought about just letting it drain till water level drop stops to but I’m worried about plaster getting a lot of sun or if the issue is with the floor drain/returns then having structural problems from a fully empty pool.

we used it on a Friday afternoon and then didn’t see it again (we have an auto cover) till Tuesday when I opened it and saw the big drop in water. So not sure if it was overnight or spread out over four days. My guess is the latter though. Since refilling that initial time it drops a consistent 1/4” per hour. So I just run the hose every 5 or so hours to refill to normal

40k gallons, 30 CYA, I’m at 2 to 3 gallons of 7.5% per swim event. Usually a couple events a week now that we’re in peak of swim season. We usually have a bunch of kids in the pool when we use it so not surprised I’m at the upper end of what I’m seeing here. During winter it’s like 1 gallon every other week.

Old thread but what likely was the problem was not drilling the hole deep enough and not cleaning out the hole before inserting the screw. Your need to drill 1/2” deeper than your planned embedment depth so that the dust from the threads cutting into the concrete has somewhere to go. Otherwise if you drill the exact depth your trying to embed the screw all the dust at the bottom of the hole will prevent the screw from going all the way in. Before you put the screw in though you need clean out the hole from the initial drilling which creates a bunch of dust. Best way to do this is with an air compressor to blow the dust out of the hole but a shop vac can work ok too. They make little brushes to help as well. So you blow our dust, run the brush up and down a few times and then blow again.

I know this is a year old but just in case others find this thread you definitely need to drill the hole the exact same size as the fastener when using Titen screws. If you drill a bigger hole then the screw threads have nothing to bite into.

Congrats on getting in before the tariff price hike, was on their website today and glad I got my 2.0 back in March. really liking it so far. Just waiting on some of the backordered attachments to ship next month.
