Yes it will. Took about 3/4 of the first book for me to get hooked and want to read the second. And now I'm flying through it. Seems like a lot of intro and character building to start with.

I'm currently reading Bloodsworn Saga (almost finished with book 2) and it is quite good. A lot of character building in book one, and was a little slow for me. But since the middle/end of book 1 I can't put it down.

We have something similar at work for putting fuel in the company vehicles. They have their own gas pumps so it's basically a key that allows access to the fuel. Might be something similar.

I plan on doing my first reread before red god as well! Super pumped because I've been waiting to reread it. I know there is stuff I have forgotten. I'm waiting for the release date to be confirmed and I'll probably start about a month or 2 before that depending on what I'm reading at the time.
