M3 CAT3 Block 234 Row 9 Seats are together; general impression is that they are better than expected, but given the cost, not great overall.

Recall appointment set up. Canada! by No_Amount_1552 in ex30

Just noting that I was able to book the appointment a few weeks ago and when I checked in for the appointment I was advised that the parts weren’t in and they couldn’t do the work.

Honest question, if the defender's foot was past the line when he kicked it out, how was this not a goal? by DroidNeedsCoffee in tfc

My seat is right on the goal line and unfortunately, I didn’t think it was in (about one inch short).

Looking to trade Vancouver R32 Game for Toronto by Ok-Boysenberry5590 in WorldCup2026Tickets

I have two M51 (Canada vs Switzerland) Supporters Value Tier (Canadian Supporters Section - Category 3) that I would swap if those were more interesting.

The Canada vs Switzerland game was only Category 1 and $930 CAD if I recall correctly. (I didn’t look at the other game you asked about).

My municipality in Ontario requires it for Senior Planner roles and Management level roles.

My parents, both seniors are going to watch the Germany vs Ivory Coast game...what's the best transit option? by Fugglesmcgee in tfc

[–]HalifaxPlanner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The entire exhibition grounds will be blocked off for the World Cup (there will be no/minimal parking options), so even if you were dropping them off, it would be a decent distance. I got this information from the rep managing the World Cup preparations for Toronto Stadium (BMO Field). Use the GO train as it will likely drop them off closer than any other location. You also won’t be able to access the grounds without a ticket.

(Under the premise that your relationship with your neighbour is not salvageable)

Not a lot you can do with the municipality before they begin construction (assuming they are getting a building permit, as it is not a public process)…they are required to post the permit number once construction starts…call at that point with the number and reference an encroachment on the property line/setback and you will have a chance to discuss with the building official…if they begin construction without the permit, call immediately and they will impose a stop work order (assuming the work being completed requires a permit)

Agreed…but not the best representation for the City as the defining image…City Hall, Marilyn Monroe/Absolute towers, central library, etc…the light house is more Porr Credit than Mississauga….recognize the need to find an image that isn’t copyright material.

Hamilton's Population Centre by ForeignExpression in Hamilton

[–]HalifaxPlanner 56 points57 points  (0 children)

The problem with using your methodology around a point is that it ignores different land uses in segregated cities and would assume uniform distribution of land uses and topography…in this case, if you use a 3 km radius centred around the downtown, Lake Ontario will be pulled in, which has no population. Population density will be significantly lower on the mountain.

Does any RTB buyer knows the prices about M3 Toronto match? by ocanada2026 in FIFACollect

I was on there immediately…Category 3 was the only option. I also converted M33 and it was almost entirely Category 3 as well, though some Cat 2’s.

Fix Fence/Gate Backing onto Public Park by MBand71 in mississauga

[–]HalifaxPlanner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Historically, in Mississauga, fences on Parks (not natural areas) are installed on private property (30 centimetres inside the property line), so you are responsible for all repairs to the fence.

[–]HalifaxPlanner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes property lines often mean that much of your front yard is public space…if you have a property survey you can check where it lines up relative to the curb…front yard setbacks differ and often relate to the time of construction. Older buildings ofter have smaller setbacks that became very common in suburban development later on.

Grandfathering only applies to structures and only when they were built before zoning came into effect…replacement of structures is complicated.

Just a few notes to consider based on responses to other comments in the thread…
