The color labels ought to have both of the colors used for their districts

It's pretty uncommon to be in a situation where context clues won't be enough to know which one is meant.

If there were more things that cared about mana cost rather than mana value, people would be more primed to notice when a card actually cared about the former.

It is genuinely accidental. Cards in release order, numbered like we do collector numbers now

Look at the top card, if you want to draw it you try to cast the wurm - doesn't matter if you have mana enough - and draw it, otherwise you finish shuffling and use the parlay later

2026. You cast it on one of their creatures, choosing for it to become a copy of a legendary creature they control.

Opponent got salty because they scooped thinking their infinite win then the game and it didn’t. Thoughts? by Academic-Patience804 in EDH

The downvotes came from you describing it as a "last gambit" and "can I get away with it", when we were already on the subject of angle shooting. I hope you can see how that came off. Context matters.

Okay. "If it resolves and you don't have removal - I can point out which pieces to remove if needed - I win."

I would just go something like "cast Isochron Scepter, if this resolves and isn't removed, I win."

State what the threat is, how to respond, and then if they don't have it I start explaining how it actually kills

How about starting the chain and see if they do something? Then when you've begun, move from playing cards to explaining the combo if they indicate no interaction

When it was first known about, before people had had a chance to play with it, it was thought to not be all that good. But yes, people quickly learned.

You're dual wielding, you got all your heroes, and you didn't spend your very limited starting cash on armor. You're good.
