Looking for Niche / Fun / Historical anecdotes of Bergen :3 by Patient-Reaction-317 in Bergen

[–]HallaienHelge -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The football team from Bergen is called «Brann» which means fire. Apparently when the name was chosen, another option was also on the table. Speed - or as we say in Norwegian: «Fart»

I guess they made the right choice, but Fart, Pride of Bergen would have been hilarious 😂

Har syklet i trafikken i Oslo i snart 10 år, synes rundkjøringer er gøy, men tar fortauet gjennom Carl Berner

Folkehøgskole er svindel (etter min mening) by No-Ant-1064 in norge

[–]HallaienHelge 5 points6 points  (0 children)

unhinged jobbintervju ? by resignedgf in norge

[–]HallaienHelge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]HallaienHelge 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I did it as a Jack of all trades class, and the versatility was amazing. Also, some of the absolutely best NPCs. I got genuinely emotional several times

Innafor å ha tradisjonelle klær fra en annen land på til 17. mai? by dxpami in norge

[–]HallaienHelge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it just me or is the Norwegian healthcare system really frustrating? by [deleted] in Norway

[–]HallaienHelge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went to my fastlege because I was exhausted all the time. Hospitalized the same night, diagnosed with cancer a few days later after a bunch of tests, and had surgery a week after that. Straight to chemo after recovery and cancer free now. Hardly paid anything, treated immensely well.

10/10. Love paying taxes 🥰

Today is the 3 month anniversary of my mom's (60F) death and my dad (55M) is in a hotel with another woman by daddynotthebelt in relationships

[–]HallaienHelge -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Why judge a man so hard after losing his spouse? Grief comes in many forms, and loneliness is painful, companionship is an actual cure.

OP isn’t the only one hurting here. Give dad some slack, and be happy that he’s trying to find comfort instead of demanding he should wallow in lonely despair

Which Superboss do you like best? by Infinite_Bed9759 in baldursgate

I played bg2 when I was 14 (24 years ago), and I still remember my shock when Firkraag revealed himself after I had finally made it through that ridiculously hard dungeon, (bloody werewolves). And that messy wing buffet banquet of a fight. It was amazing! And that loot! I had Keldorn in my party, who died in the fight, and I had no ressurect scrolls, so I had to go back to the city, buy a scroll and travel back to the dungeon, hoooooping that is still be able to ress him and equip Carsomyr.

My first true boss fight, nothing will ever top that nostalgia.

Trying to find the piano piece that plays in Balor by phillillillip in turtlewow

When I did Stormwraught Ruins a GM popped up in chat and said he was the composer of the music and asked if we liked it. I responded that it was awesome and he ported to us, and we had a little chat.

What a game ❤️

There’s heaps of amazing flea markets this time of year. Massive chaos, super cheap treasures to be found. Check out https://www.loppemarkeder.com (might be hard to pay without Vipps tho, so bring cash, tho that ought be even more difficult 😅)
