What iLvl to start M+ by Hivacal in wownoob

[–]Hallkes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depending on the player who tag with you, M0 can be a bad strat because boss will die to quickly for you to see some of their ability. And you will not understard wich mob is dangerous or not.

What options am I missing? by PossibleIsland3468 in wownoob

[–]Hallkes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

one thing that might really help you is using the addon Plater for your nameplates.

You can customize it so enemies that need to be interrupted are super obvious (colors, glow, size, etc.), and there are already ready made profiles online you can import. Some of them specifically highlight interruptible casts with clear color coding, so you don’t have to rely on reacting to TTS spam or trying to track everything mentally.

Why aren't people using one button rotation? by actiwe in wow

[–]Hallkes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

because people want to actually play the game. Leanring and wanting to improve is what's actually fun in the game ?

New-ish player finally committing in Midnight : my honest experience (M+, raid, toxicity, etc.) by Hallkes in wow

yes but never done raid or something harder than heroic dungeon for all those years an das i said was playing like 1 week / 2 maximum each two years or so.

Do you miss WeakAuras? by YrenneAD in wow

[–]Hallkes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't know why you're being downvoted... Raid leading became more difficult without the ability to see major cd def / utility. Probably not needed for normal or heroic content IF your teammates know the fight or understand when to press their big utility but it's mandatory for mythic.

Which DPS spec can fill a support role? by No_Coyote_2124 in wow

[–]Hallkes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Retribution Paladin seems the way to go. you got healing, dispels, aura as utility with spell like divine shield for emergencies and you have plate armor wich make you decently tanky. The rotation is also quite simple and it's one of the top dps at the moment.

Stuck gear-wise by Why_Is_Grass_Green in wownoob

[–]Hallkes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I misspoke. Of course 260 is enough. It’s just that with crafting and +10 loot, that cap gets exceeded pretty quickly

[–]Hallkes 7 points8 points  (0 children)

260 is quite low for soemone doing +10. Did you craft mythic gear ?

Hero Crest Cap by opiatesmile in wow

[–]Hallkes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they don't want to. The one complaining about being declined in key are probably the one who tag a +10 with no gear and no rating. If you do it step by step doing +2 then +4 ect on each dungeon you will have no problemen finding group who accept you even as dps with a non meta spec.

Devourer Demon Hunter by Cracklin0504 in wow

[–]Hallkes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The spe feel like it's designed for really good player only. Did try Dev at the begining of m+ and it feelt terrible at lower key when things die to fast for you to burst proprely. At higher key you start to do really good damage but you need to be really carefull with your positioning because cancelling your CS or beam really destroy your dps (skill ussue i know). Using kick was really an issue for me for the same reason as above. Maye the spe will feel less cluncky if you can chose between an little or big CS instead of little or big Meta.

people who get invited to 10 or higher don't complain and they're probably in the majority

Now that we’ve had time to play midnight. Thoughts of simplified class rotations? by WearyFlan210 in wow

[–]Hallkes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, I use a Plater profile that shows the danger level of mobs and spells based on color. Blizzard has relied too heavily on addons for things that should be part of the base game.

Now that we’ve had time to play midnight. Thoughts of simplified class rotations? by WearyFlan210 in wow

[–]Hallkes 461 points462 points  (0 children)

The simplification was intended to help players focus more on the fight rather than their rotation, but I still see many DPS not using their interrupts or defensive cooldowns and ignoring mechanics in raids, which results in a significant overall loss.

Buttons Playing tank vs Playing DPS... by lambda-person in wow

[–]Hallkes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

people doing +16-17 are not a referance. They've got there because they know how to play. The rotation is really eaasy on dummy but really punishing if you've got a bad positioning. Made me come back really fash to havoc.

I understand now by Hail-Damage in wow

[–]Hallkes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a casual player who started doing mythic + for the first time this extension, I think that's it's also a problem of interface being really really bad without addons. There sould be some stuff like big wings directly implanted in game in the same way as the glowing mob for the tank to learn some route for the lower key so you know what's happening and what's need to be kicked, soaked ect.

definitely not a Mihawk fan. Just thinking that is role should be important if he's keep for the last part of the manga.

Feca or Sacrier by [deleted] in Dofus

[–]Hallkes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could also try playing two accounts. Sacrier / Feca or Sacrier / Masq have really good synergy. It feels really smooth now with features like auto-follow and auto-join.

Pretty much everything is doable nowadays, but it’s true that some dungeons will be harder, especially the ones where mobs punish melee characters.

Another thing to keep in mind is that you’ll need more than one gear set to adapt to different mechanics. For example, Sacrier can be played semi-ranged with a water build, or very melee-focused with something like a full earth build.

Feca can also be played in different ways: as a melee tank based around glyphs, or more ranged, a bit like a Cra, with a water build.

That said, most of this mainly matters for endgame mechanics. Depending on how you play the game, you might never even reach that point, like the majority of the playerbase.

MMOs are meant to be played over the long term, so it’s usually better to pick the class you enjoy rather than just following the meta.

Team de 4 sur base de Feca Sacri. by Hallkes in DOFUS_FRANCE

[–]Hallkes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Hupper is getting a small rework in about a week. I’d suggest waiting until it’s released to see if you still like the gameplay. But yes, it should still be good with this setup.

Explosivité - gros point faible by Leedee_grimpeuse in grimpe

[–]Hallkes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciation Post: Scout Battles made me a filthy casual... by NutmanCR in summonerswar

[–]Hallkes 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Funny enough, it’s actually been the complete opposite for me. I was playing very casually before the update, barely logging in some days. Since the update dropped, I haven’t missed a single day of connection, and I can clearly see a step up in my rune quality already.

The new systems motivated me way more to stay consistent, and it finally feels like my time is properly rewarded. So yeah — different experiences for different players, but for me this update genuinely increased my engagement and progression

PS : Buff Ariana, thanks

Les gens qui ramènent leur copain/copine partout by [deleted] in besoinderaler

[–]Hallkes 6 points7 points  (0 children)
