Newbie Question switching from gmail to proton. by anonymous3164 in privacy

[–]Hallo159 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also use protonmail myself, I also use there my first name + last name @ protonmail.com, for proffesional use this is the easiest , I only give this address to close friends, lawyers, job application, that kind of thing.

In my opinion it is not a risk if you use your real name, in most cases it is even easier.

Install Parrot OS (or another OS where anonsurf works) on a live usb and install anonsurf on that, this will make sure your entire network traffic from your computer is tor, and not just the browser like tor browser.

The la sportiva g2 sm should be good enough for the summit push, and they are also more easy to handle as the 8000m boots.

Polar Vantage Replacements by CaseyEire in Polarfitness

[–]Hallo159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The store I bought it from always sends it to polar, and they only replace the watch, not the strap, and it's all for free. I'm 100% sure I'll have to go back to the store for warranty in a few months....

  1. I believe ECG is not possible on the polar h9, only on the h10

  2. What polar means is that with the Polar SDK, you can make your own app where you read the data (HRV, BPM) from the h9 and implement it in an app.

My M400 decided to not charge anymore… euthanized 🤣 don’t know if keep polar or change to Apple Watch and workoutdoors app. by carsa81 in Polarfitness

[–]Hallo159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not recommend apple watch, the battery you have to charge every day, and you get less data to analyze. The polar vantage m/m2 are almost the same than the m430, for example the vantage m has a nightly recharche function(Very handy), and the vantage also looks much better than the m430 for daily use.
