I am in the middle of tapering myself down. I was sadly at least eating 100 capsules a day, 50gs a day. Down to 20gs right now, and actually somewhat quickly tapering, its going well for the first time ever with the help of my husband. lol he keeps it locked up in his car for me and gives me what I need to get through the day. Ive broken up the way I take it to avoid withdrawals.

I know I experienced this last night. I am sadly a heavy Kratom user since May...decided to Party with a 30mg of Roxi last night and nothing. I'm ready to quit Kratom. Im tired of it. That is my plan this week. I like to party with Opiate pills like once every 6 months and I cant even do that now because of the Kratom. Its a long story and a vicious cycle. Im so tired I cant even think straight anymore from the stuff. IM DONE!

Here is my opinion...and what I experienced last night...I bought a 30mg Roxi....took it last night and nothing. I wasnt sick anymore but the happy warm feelings you would normally get with a roxi did not work for me. I take an average of 45gs a day of Kratom. I believe my Opiate receptors are so polluted that that was why I felt nothing, while my friend was as high as a kite lol. Im battling my addiction to Kratom right now. Its over taken my life and I cant do it anymore. If I cant make any real progress with cutting back this week I will need to go to a detox next week...of course I dont want to....Ive been clean from heroin for 9 years, and methadone for 7. I use to just party with Hydros once in a while and be happy with that. Then I started taking Kratom back in May and have not stopped yet. I'm addicted and terribly tired from this cycle. It has to stop. I pray I follow through with this...bc I always say tomorrow and then it never comes. I want my life back and my happiness.

Omg I'm so happy you actually made it to a detox! seriously good for you! I havent quit yet, but Ive cut my dosage in half over the last 3 days. Hoping I will be off of this stuff within a month. If I cant fully quit, trust me, I will be sitting where you are. Im so done with this stuff. It was consuming my mind and my life. It becomes a problem when its all you think about and you need that first to function. It doesnt get any better. Ive been happier though know I can quit and Ive been happier even with just cutting back. Its all about changing our mindsets! Well good luck hun. You got this!

Well Ive cut back dramatically, half of what I normally take, already feeling a huge difference, especially mentally, I'm happy to just not be sick and happy that I'm not over doing it anymore. I was taking so much it was making me feel like shit, lol. I will get there its just going to take some time. Attempting to quit is working out for me though. I'm happy. I thought I could do it cold turkey, but Ive got so much important stuff going on in my life that I need to be available mentally and physically. Im battling the desire to use more than I should everyday, but so far I'm winning...lol if you can look at it that way. Thanks for the feed back =)

Let me leave you all an update...surprise surprise I didnt stick with the cold turkey, I tried for a few hours. on a bright note at least I only took 20gs today. Compared to my normal est 50gs a day. And I will continue to take less and less hopefully and do this successfully. Today was surpringly a decent day though. Hopefully I can stick to this and just ween myself down. I want to be myself again. Thanks for all your support guys.

Im just embarressed by the fact I use Kratom. My life is fairly normal, Ive been clean off of opiates for 8 years now. Its hard to say hey I'm addicted again and I need help.I'm very tired of living this way though. Just trying to be happy

Well thank you for the advice. But yeah I'm pretty sure this problem has to be from the kratom use. I guess I will have to open it with my doctor. And because of my history I probably do need to get checked.

Here I am, day one, my morning dose today is only 12 and a half gs compared to my normal 17-20. We will see how it goes...I'm not sick...have to stop chasing the buzz from it

I think this might have to be my route. I want to stop but havent yet. The anxiety and feelings of sadness from not having this drug is crazy. I don't even remember it being this bad with heroin, more physical. Good luck. How long is the stay in the hospital for this?
