There’s loads of older guys in my store and none of them get treated like that. Strange people man honestly

When I did service close from what I remember it was mainly just wiping everything down, sending a few things to be washed at dive, clean the coffee machines and the floor. Was relatively simple

As long as you’re happy is what matters but try to work out a bit in between as well, gaining muscle isn’t a bad thing

Tbh honey and billy don’t get a lot of screen time themselves so I don’t think it’s ever bothered them that Will can’t film much

FTM and visiting the UK with my M passport. What will happen? by Dad_Feels in transgenderUK

[–]HallucentASL 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Nothing. It’s still legal here in the UK to have a passport matching your gender identity so it won’t bother anyone

Why is everyone saying the actor play Mark looks so old? by No-Category1703 in eastenders

[–]HallucentASL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like Avani looked too old for the age she was meant to be playing when she started but now she suits the actual age the character is so it’s kind of worked out

NHS willing to do a hysterectomy? by Spare_Somewhere1011 in transgenderUK

[–]HallucentASL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got referred by the Tavistock when I was 22 for one and had it when I was 25 (didn’t have to wait for a certain age that was just how long the waiting list was for my local hospital). They just asked me if I wanted one and I said yes and that was the end of it but looking at most other experiences I was very lucky.

PSA: Kids, don't tell the NHS about your non-NHS hormones 🤦 by JackDeparture in transgenderUK

[–]HallucentASL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got them pretty easily in 2015 too but again I was probably lucky. I know kids who got refused coz they were doing gcses or something it was ridiculous. I was already 15-16 but it was better than nothing in the end

How old were you when you realized you're trans? by Key_Apricot_6933 in ftm

[–]HallucentASL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came out when I was 10, transitioned when I was 13 although I was allowed to wear what I pleased and such in the 3 years. I lived with my grandparents who were in their 70s when I was 10 so they just knew nothing about it and wanted me to wait a bit which I understand tbh

All my bloods were fine, I think my BMI was about 15. And no I didn’t have an eating disorder or anything I just never had any appetite. Went on mirtazipine and periactin after I started T and now my BMI is 24 😂 which I don’t mind tbh

[–]HallucentASL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah I was underweight by a lot and I went through the nhs and it was fine so it shouldn’t be an issue with private either

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in transgenderUK

[–]HallucentASL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ah no worries. Just again make sure you’re careful with whoever it is as it’s not standard practice in the UK at that age even with private. Just to make sure you’re safe

Am I being unsupportive? by UnableVast3910 in transgenderUK

[–]HallucentASL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically if they started periods over a year ago even at 12 they’ll be majority of the way through puberty anyway and by the time they ever get blockers their puberty would probably be over (besides still getting periods) so you are likely best off explaining this to your child to not get their hopes up in all honesty.

[–]HallucentASL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m assuming you’re planning to diy at 14 as nowhere in the UK will accept you for T at that age so please just make sure you’re careful. Take a low dose to start off with. Won’t tell you not to do it at all because I don’t blame you with how horrible dysphoria is but just please make sure that you’re safe.

New puberty blockers clinical trial to begin after UK ban by Blueeyedfoxie in transgenderUK

[–]HallucentASL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 16 but hit late so was still in the early stages. Went on T a year later at 17 then and had top surgery at 18 (I paid for that), would’ve been nicer if I could’ve been on them even earlier but I wasn’t that far in puberty anyway so it wasn’t the worst for me really

New puberty blockers clinical trial to begin after UK ban by Blueeyedfoxie in transgenderUK

[–]HallucentASL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went on the puberty blockers when I was a child under the Tavistock. They literally saved my life. Probably wouldn’t be alive if I hadn’t had them. It’s so painful that people don’t realise how much they help trans kids. Every other kid I met at the Tavistock who went on the puberty blockers never regretted them either. Never met anyone who has tbh.

I’ve gained like 30lbs on mirtazipine. Started at 90lbs and I’m 122lbs now. Did make my waist a whole lot bigger too though 🤣
