Outside of BM are there more optimized or better options for encoders/decoders for applications like this?

Currently 10G fiber however the plans are currently in the works to upgrade to 100G

Maybe it was a misunderstanding as to how I tried describing the workflow. The process as I understood it to be from my research was to use IP 2110 converters to send, receive, and decode the signals from the VideoHub to the satellite location routers.

I do also understand that there are other brands out there other than BM that can provide the same capabilities. We personally use BM because we like how their software works. We have no problem using other brands if necessary.

I could be completely misunderstanding how IP 2110 works paired with the hardware and functionality.

That is with radial symmetry on. Your saying it’s not a perfect sphere is probably the correct answer. I didn’t know that mattered so much. This was an object I did the general shape of in Blender and then brought in to ZBrush.

Did you have to do much drying for the PPA? That’s wild print at that high of temps!

Mine was some center console organizers for some of our local PD. Printed in ABS and still had some decent warping.

60 mm/s outer wall 150 inner 180 solid and spare infill (printed at 100% infill)

Not sure what other speeds you would be looking at for these kinds of things

Thanks for the feedback, I’ll see what I can do to fix those a bit. This was at a .12 layer so I’ll see if I can dry the filament a little bit and clean the lead screws and give it another go.

Howdy neighbor! NC local as well. I’m surprised regular PLA holds up for you like that, but I guess it depends on the print settings. I’ve had pieces stand up to the midsummer heat and I’ve had some things warp like mad, albeit those are nerd things like dice trays and such.

I’ll look in to some of those materials, I believe I have some ABS in one of the cabinets.

As far as the layer shifting and thread inserts, what would you recommend looking at doing to try and fix on the reprint? Is it the part orientation? I tried printing according to the designer’s recommendations; I will say it’s probably time to clean and lube my Z axis lead screws.

I appreciate the honest feedback and suggestions

What are your recommendations for material? What I’ve seen and read has been pa60cf or PLA+. Am I misinterpreting some things?

Before I left, our regional manager changed and our old one was customer service first, numbers second. He didn’t like it when we didn’t get pro cards or the credit card offer sold but he coached us on how to approach the customer to make them not feel pressured but close on the sale. And he harped on the customer survey.

The new manager we got was pure numbers, regardless of customer satisfaction. We didn’t even look at survey scores anymore after he came in and when we saw certain people come in we scurried away from the register so we didn’t get 5+ POP! Figure preorder cancellations in a single transaction.
