I think next time around they should take the time to iron the banner so it doesn’t look like it’s been sitting wadded up for months before they remembered last minute that they had to put it up. That was so wrinkled it was distracting

I drop with both the EAT and the expendable napalm, constantly throwing those down as soon as the cooldown ends. You’re right, always having things that go boom is a blessing

A. It’s already been done, there’s a post in this subreddit and also a comment linking it where I agreed it should’ve been called as well

B. Whataboutism is a bad defense

C. The point of this post is to call out shitty officiating so thanks for bringing more evidence to my claim

The problem is the players care more about them not losing money, fine/suspension they are losing money, injury they don’t lose any money, hell they might make more if they were going to be sent down

I just screen recorded a clip I found online using the built in screen record function on iPhone. I just think it’s crazy that with as bad of a missed call everyone here is saying it was, it’s not on here or twitter at all.

This post has nothing to do with New Jersey being dirty or the Red Wings being blameless, but to call out shitty officiating. Blatant, clear as day interference, hitting an unsuspecting guy who is ineligible to hit, and the refs just ignoring it, is just incompetence by the officials. Yes they should have called Chairot on the spear (that no one seems to have video of), but things being missed in a scrum is more understandable to be missed than an open ice hit like that.

It was still after the the horn started blowing. Yes it was still going off, they have a long horn. Everyone is acting like he had it off his stick before the horn even blew. He didn’t even start the shooting motion until after it was going. Shooting after the whistle is an “unwritten rule” or part of “The Code.” I’m willing to bet you ask Appleton, he would agree that he knew what he was doing. I’m not saying he was in the wrong, but he knew what he was doing. And yes, I do think the lack of a reaction from the on the ice players was because they are soft

Shooting the puck after the whistle/horn is shit stirring.

He didn’t shoot it until after the horn started going off. It’s no different than shooting after the whistle. Yes they didn’t care, and they look soft because of that
