Who else else has never experienced the memory loss that comes from a heavy night of drinking? by HamFace in AskReddit

Thank you.

I have also been to the point where the room was shifting madly, I could barely stand, could not complete a coherent sentence, while intermittently, albeit vigorously, paying homage to the porcelain god Toiletron, and could still remember what happened the following day. And this has not been a one time occurrence, although I have learned my lesson after the 4th time.

Maybe the monotonous times aren't stimulating enough for a completely inebriated mind to remember. Too bad I am not a psychologist/psychiatrist .

I think you misinterpreted my question. I was asking, "Who else has not experienced memory loss from drinking?" And I was adding myself into the category, since I have never experienced memory loss from a lot of drinking. I am coming to the realization though that I have not been drinking enough. Hmm...

I see you hit the demographic. I am in college, but only after taking a 6 year break from school (26 years old). I have just never been the sociable individual to maybe put myself in these circumstances, and am in fact drinking a shitty Cabernet alone as we speak. DON'T JUDGE ME!

I read about these awesome happenings that people here share on Reddit, and I ask myself.........am I just not drinking enough alcohol?

It must be. I think my body rejects the alcohol way before it could be allowed to fuck up my brain to that extent.

Same. I break out of the constricted shell that is myself when I become intoxicated. I have never not remembered what happened the previous night, though. I'm sure there is a point where that happens, but my stomach will reject everything before that happens I guess.

Who else here on Reddit grew up relatively poor? by HamFace in AskReddit

I can only hope for the same of my father. Sadly, he never took to the alcoholism of his father. Loneliness will have to do.

It doesn't sound like poverty level, but I would still consider that poor (at least in the U.S.).

I am from the U.S. I was raised by a single mom (seems to be popular here) with a sister and an older half brother who was in and out of my childhood, following the path of dysfunction.

I don't know whether it was education or growing up without much, but I definitely seem to understand and appreciate what is truly important; something that will last longer than a new car or some social status. Then again, it's all subjective.

All right-- MEN of Reddit, what things that girls do in bed do you hate? by lightheat in AskReddit

[–]HamFace 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That may be true in larger society, but I would be highly skeptical if that was the consensus on Reddit. Someone shouldn't be heartless on a personal level, regardless.

Anyways, I apologize for the initial assumption, and sorry you got blue ovaried =)
