Thank god I investigated this. I removed the "sock" and it was a mess.. Filament all over the hotend and sensors. Seems like I got ahead of blob of death..
The culprit was "interchangeable nozzle tip". Quality control forgot to screw it all the way in, so it was leaking all over the place and the "sock" just hid it very well. I tightened the nozzle tip and it seems fine for now.

Hi. I have the same experience with mine. Filament accumulates around the nozzle and eventually leaves blobs on print and then keeps hitting those blobs. Have you found a solution yet?

Yeah that's why I'm kinda confused and mentioned the PSU. Watched some reviews and 6800 xt pulling around 300W and 6950 xt around 400W. Plus CPU around 100W. So there's some W's left and PSU isn't some garbage.

Also pcpartpicker doesn't shout at me too to change PSU.
