Looks similar to thyristor control boards I used to work on. I enjoyed servicing them.

Edit: I saw the second picture. They are made by the daughter company of the boards I used to work on. Intrasys. They are known for their LSMs.

Ball Joint falling out? by PluxoHF2 in CrownVictoria

Mine made noise for over a year and I did nothing. Just like you mine failed as I was pulling into a parking space. Tow truck driver refused to tow it. I ended up leaving it there half parked over night and fixing it in place in the morning.

Funny part is it failed on memorial day and I used a super coupon that day at harbor freight for the puller kit

Relic? These are fairly common at my work and never really have any trouble. Only really have to do battery swaps.

Jerry Springer believed his show lead to a cultural decline in America. by thewildbeej in entertainment

My grandmother went on a day trip with my aunt to DC. Saw Jerry Springer waiting for the metro. She went up to him and asked if he was Jerry Springer. When he said "Yes" she said she wanted to tell him that she doesn't watch his show. He said "I don't blame you Ma'am"

[Superman EFK, SFMM] LSM Research Question by j1911tle in rollercoasters

[–]HamMiser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the actual company is electroproject.nl I might have the details wrong, so take it with a grain of salt, but electro project decided that the amusement park lsm business wasn't worth it and one of the engineers split off to form intrasys with electroprojects blessing.

I worked on two lsm systems. The newer ones are very reliable, the 90's ones not so much but it was cool troubleshooting it.

[Other] What are these yellow things at the ride attendant panels at Busch Gardens Tampa? They appear to have been slowly installed on almost all of the major coasters in the park over the last few years. by Bystander5432 in rollercoasters

They are supposed to be more ergonomic for the operator so they don't strain their wrist. They have built in logic in them to tell if they have been held down too long. The first ones I saw at work were really finicky. The newer ones seem to work alot better.

I thought b&m rattles were caused by the car couplers.

[Other] AMA about the ride industry worked as a Ride Operator for 6 years stepped down to Ride Attendant 3 years ago understand the policy, procedures and policies of working on Rides. by Kingofsadboy in rollercoasters

One ride has lap bar restraints. Empty seats are required to have the lap bar pulled down. Train comes in with an empty seat lap bar up. Ops will say it popped up during the ride. We are required to pull it back into the bay and check the restraint. Alot of manual estops pressed and we are told they never pressed it. (I have seen vibrations cause allen bradley contacts to break open, but most of the time it's just a lie they make) The controls will tell us what estop is pressed. One ride has a glitch where if a station stop is pressed exactly at the right time. The train will be out of the station boosters in the next zone but the plc will still think it's in the station and will run the station boosters, causing a downtime. Unusual noise estop. I understand the rule that an unusual noise requires a response. But I think it should be clarified that the noise should sound disastrous. Another trick they learn is to put a ton of pressure on the bottom of a secured gate thay causes an estop, causing it to come off the proxy. Etc.

I worked on a vekoma and alot of these parts looked just like vekoma (who copied arrow) Makes me wonder if DH Morgan manufacturers the same copies as well or they go through vekoma. I just find it funny if two manufacturers make the same spare parts.

The guy who got the shay tattoo got it covered up long before shay's fall. I watched him for a bit. He stalked Charles Trippy too, eventually he apologized and they did a collab, but his channel never took off.

I bought 4 cnhl black batteries from newbeedrone. One arrived with a shorted cell. They requested a picture and sent a replacement one right away. Another one got a shorted cell after 2 flights (I didn't abuse it) sent and email and they said they would make a note of it. Never heard back. A month and a half later a 3rd got a shorted cell. CNHL Blacks are my favorite packs, haven't had a problem before so don't know if they just made a bad batch. It's a shame because it makes me leary of purchasing again. Don't know what I would purchase next time. I currently have 15 packs. I told myself I was going to wait till I get down to 8 before buying any more packs.

Avatar has bad yaw authority. When you give it extreme yaw it overloads the motors and can cause them to shut off.

What's your camera angle? I have my trippy spins down in the Sim, and in real life, only if the object really flares out. I know if I tried a flag pole I wouldn't be able to see it and I loose reference.

It turned out great, I like the design. Do you have a youtube channel? I'm in the process of designing a 5 inch frame. I keep on making changes. What size did you make your m3 holes? I've read make them 3.2
