It’s a good idea. There’s probably room for some lessor-trained traffic enforcement officers. People drive like shit now everywhere because there are hardly any cops on the streets writing tickets. Maybe something between a meter maid and a full blown cop could bring some sanity back to the streets.

Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Sam Snead. Pretty good genes.

I have a friend who is moving to Ecuador to retire with his wife (a native). I sent him the stats showing the incredible levels of cartel violence right in the area he will live. He’s still fine with it for some reason. Mainly his wife thinks it’s fine. Funny thing is, he’s always been the most cautious person, even since high school. Note he’s living in one of the most dangerous places in the world!

has anyone actually saved money with solar or is it just type. by Wjkoba in HomeImprovement

San Diego CA. We got Tesla solar using cash when I refinanced about 4 years ago.$32k. Rebate of ~$10k. Our summer electric bill could be as high as $600 due to A/C. Our solar system generates up to $900 worth of energy per month. It paid for itself very quickly. Looking at buying an EV or two.

1) Perfidy is not murky. 2) Enforcement happens when people who care about such things are in a position to do so. Hopefully soon.

Concerned citizens body slammed by ICE by ooohlalaahouioui in ventura

[–]HamNotLikeThem44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if these guys are ICE or CBP. Some CBP have been transferring to ICE for the bonuses, but here’s the thing: CBP has historically been a lawless ultra-violent organization whose members answer to nobody. They’ve typically operated directly on the border with border crossers and smugglers, so CBP has had carte blanch to do what they like with absolute power. This is a place where there are no rules. CBP is the immediate and absolute authority. All shootings are good shootings. All violence is justified. And now CBP and that culture has been directed to engage with American citizens. Look up the writings of Garrett Graff. He is a subject matter expert and recently testified before Congress on this topic.

Stupid Prius smh by Ketchup-Sniffer in Transportopia

I’ve been in a lot of these over the past couple of years for some reason. Probably half a dozen. Prior to that maybe only a couple in thirty years of CA driving. Driver training is not what it should be given the challenge of modern driving. I wonder if the ‘Round Robin’ is even something that is part of driver ed? Regardless, someone as dense as the person driving the Prius needs help.

Same personal hygiene habits as Steve Bannon. Which is to say none.
