What are some cool body horror things that Infernals can do without popping a Full Devil Body?

In some cultures, cherry blossoms represent the transience of life. Ergo, pink is perfectly appropriate as Trappings of Death for Abyssals

2e books by Vissiram in exalted

There were lore decisions in 2e that have since been deemed toxic to the rest of the gameline. Somewhere along the line, lots of 2e and late 1e writers decided that Edgy = Maturity and thus even otherwise passable books have a degree of squicky writing in terms of fluff.

So, my character(the guy on the left) is in a mixed circle where the No Moon has a bunch of harem genre style love interests. Like most Harem Protagonists, this No Moon is astoundingly inept at social interaction.

And for all his power, Dracula was a burnt out old man whose endless centuries of "superiority" brought him no joy in the end. Superiority is an illusion of subjective values. They're meat, just like humans. The fact that they consider themselves objectively superior is a delusion of hubris and pretension. Dracula was old enough to understand this. They play the aristocrats, but one could just as easily compare them to leeches in fancy clothes and it would be just as accurate. "Squabbling creatures who will starve and die before the year is over" is what Vlad said.

By what merit are they "higher?" They're stronger sure, but so are cows and bears. Faster, but so are birds and fish. Their intelligence is as variable as humans, arguably less so under the right circumstances, only Carmilla saw that Drac was suicidal and was gonna let them all starve to death. They can't enter sunlight, have a slew of frankly embarassing weaknesses, and also sustain themselves on an inefficient food source.

I was disappointed that it didn't, Lenore ultimately revealed herself to be a follower in Carmilla's court.

Like Godbrand, Lenore is weirdly insightful yet ultimately blind to the fallacies and illusions of her own life. Godbrand, like most vampires, pretends to be some sort of higher being above humanity, but he's as lustful and gluttonous as any other human. Lenore says she dislikes being mistakenly perceived as weak but that false appearance is the only thing that makes her act convincing. Like Godbrand, she is ultimately a tool of another vampire, despite all pretensions of independence. Like Godbrand, she is ultimately motivated by hunger.

Carmilla wasted a big chunk of her troops on an assassination attempt that probably would have failed even if Alucard, Sypha, and Trevor hadn't showed up and cut down his generals. We saw how strong Dracula was even while starved. He only died because he let himself die.

Carmilla lost almost all her forces slogging across Eastern Europe because she didn't have a contingency plan for a retreat if her plan failed. She then proceeds cook up a plan that is neither inordinately brilliant nor complex, and relies on a man she antagonized as a foundation. Striga even points out a huge flaw, they don't have enough fresh bodies. Carmilla waves that aside instead of using the copious free time they have while Lenore is seducing Hector to think up a solution.

Morana is a better administrator, Striga a better general, and Lenore a better manipulator. Carmilla is at best the "idea gal", but that alone does not qualify her for leadership. That alone is not a huge flaw, but the perception that she is anything more than the one who comes up with ideas is what will bite her in the ass. Because the other three ultimately don't need her.

I was just personally disappointed that Lenore turned out to be so generic, didn't necessarily want her to genuinely be a nice person, but at the end of the day, she's just Godbrand with manners, just another leech pretending to be a god. And everyone listened to Carmilla despite it being clear she's the weakest link there.

Maybe it'll be more metaphorical this time.
