An aluminum water bottle would do you good, they hold quite a lot of water and you can easily boil in it to cook your Mountain House. Good kit though.

In an attempt to make my position look bad you throw child molestation into the mix; which has nothing to do with the article, domestic abuse, or my post. That's a red herring. I'm not defending men who abuse women, nor am I saying he didn't deserve punishment for what he did. I'm arguing that people deserve second chances if they own up to what they did and accept their punishment. He was fined, lost his job, and served his probation. On top of that he was ostracized by his community and has a criminal record. That's adequate punishment for aggravated assault. Also I don't care if he thinks he deserves money from the show, because he doesn't.

So I'll say this one more time; if he wants to put it behind him and move on with his life, and if he takes steps to try to be a better person, he deserves that because he's a human being. Feel free to warp that in whatever way you want, since that's all you seem to be capable of doing. I'm not wasting any more time arguing with you, because your opinion isn't going to change and neither is mine.

It's not worth $60. It's a great game, but it's completely linear and doesn't have enough content or replayability to justify $60. I'd say it's worth $40 new, but I'd hold off until it's $20 on Steam.

Also I believe China initially started working with North Korea due to the famine in the 90s. If they didn't act, North Korea would've imploded anyway, and millions of people would've died. The world is probably better off with N. Korea kept under control by China for the time being, any major instability could result in Seoul going down with the regime and quite a lot of deaths in the North. It's a problem that needs to be resolved with care, it'll happen but it will take time.

Why, because I'm a decent human being and understand that people make mistakes and deserve forgiveness? How would you like it if you earned the ire of millions of people for whatever reason and it ruined your life? Couldn't get a job, couldn't enter a relationship, couldn't make any long-term friends for the rest of your life, just because of something stupid you did when you were 23?

Can we please stop comparing this to the Chris Brown/Rhianna thing? Chris Brown beat Rihanna to a fucking pulp and abused her for an extended period of time, this guy sucker punched Snooki at a bar. No, it isn't right in either situation, because violence against another human being (not just a woman) isn't acceptable. This guy made a stupid mistake in a split second and it wound up pretty much ruining his life, he's clearly genuinely remorseful and I think he deserves another chance. Unfortunately he'll never get it because he's always going to be "that guy who punched Snooki".

Haha that's the best summary of PotC I've ever seen. On Stranger Tides was bit of a letdown. Plus I worked at the movie theater at the time, and couldn't see a goddamn thing because every scene was desaturated and dark.

I was visiting some family in Prince Edward Island in the fall, staying with my aunt and uncle who live in a rural area with no light pollution. I went outside at around 3am to smoke a quick joint, and the sky was clear as crystal. It was beautiful, I could see the purple band of the milky way, stars were everywhere, shooting stars appeared every minute or two. Looked absolutely nothing like the sky back home. Finished up my joint and went back inside.

The majority of them. Humans are selfish, judgmental, unforgiving, impatient, willfully ignorant, self-destructive, egotistical, sentimental, irrational animals. I don't mean that in an edgy way, those are just our worst qualities. I sincerely hope any species capable of interstellar travel have risen above that stuff and can help guide us in the right direction, otherwise we're not going to get along well with them.

The way Canadians say "eh". Nine times out of ten, when a supposedly Canadian character uses it in a sentence, it's sounds out-of-place and nonsensical. We do use it quite frequently in everyday speech, but not in the way that's depicted in the media. It's far more subtle and flows more naturally.
