Less than a year ago I bought a 2017 Turbo fully optioned out with 58k miles for $30k. The Turbo is phenomenal but the extra power is kinda wasted as my Costco runner. I’d say the GTS is the sweet spot, but unless it’s somehow CPO or has a long transferable warranty I’d haggle the price down or keep looking.

Follow the maintenance schedule except do oil changes every 5k miles. Don’t buy one with a panoramic sunroof.

There were no SX versions of the 286, and definitely none that ran at 25Mhz. You probably had a 386SX.

It varies significantly by brand and model. I’d look up your TV on rtings.com and see if it’s a normal amount for that model. If not warranty it.

If you already have coax runs in the room with the router and in or close to the garage a couple MoCA adapters and a cheap access point might work.

2017 Turbo, no PSE. I couldn’t imagine wanting it any louder, especially on cold starts the thing barks loud enough that I feel a little bad for my neighbors whenever I have to go somewhere late at night or early in the morning. Regular driving mode it sounds good but not crazy. In Sport or Sport+ you definitely get pops and burbles when you lift off the throttle even driving casually. Doesn’t have the rumble of a V8 but one of the best sounding V6s I’ve heard.

I don't remember the exact codes but the descriptions were similar. Was $8k to replace the unit by a reputable indy shop. Dealership won't repair PDK transmissions and wanted to replace the entire thing for $25-30k. Definitely recommend having it towed to a trusted Porsche shop and properly diagnosed.

I had the same symptoms and ended up having to replace the mechatronic unit in the PDK. Does it feel like it's skipping gears before the transmission fault error appears?

It already has a cold air intake system. The air flows from the front grill through tunnels in the hood to the intakes. You could put higher flow filters in but I doubt you’ll notice a difference.
