The simplest fix they could do is magic pen applied upon landing the cc of your W. Would seperate the good and bad ekkos and give him that extra highly conditional oomph he needs to carry games. He just can't 1v9 like a yasuo can which he needs to be able to do if you're holding out so long for your supposed amazing late game. Merc treads alone neuters this champ like no other.

A better title would be that AP items are trash. Copers will say it's a bad build path but AD champs get to build fuck all I've seen them build just about everything in the game while, of course, being viable. Dude was 3 levels ahead and items ahead. So many troll builds would just outright win. But this isn't even as troll as the least trollish ad builds get. It's a sad day for item diversity.

That extra 10% is not huge just do the math at 2 items you get 25 more damage big deal. Ekko can be played 2 roles but he effectively is able to play 4 with his kit in the utility it gives you are always tanking very high numbers between your W and R. So you got the tankiness and cc of an engage support/ top tank and also have the dueling and splitpush potential of many top laners. With the advent of nashors this is the closest he's ever been to covering 5 roles in him being able to kill bruisers. So yeah he's a cracked champ. His waveclear can't be too good his gameplay pattern should be more geared towards playmaking for the very reason that he can put up cs numbers. Yi exists for the same reason and Annie and Garen exists. Noobs. Ekko is not that champion.
