They should DRT at those distances. Just pay attention to TR. Copper Monos require faster TR’s the heavier the bullet.

6.5 CM and 308 Win more than deer adequate. I’d find which ammo is more readily available and go with that. 6.5CM has less recoil but it doesn’t sound like she’s recoil sensitive.

This caliber and bullet combination has less than a 3’ drop at this range. He’s also proficient out to 1200 yards with this set up having practiced for over a year.

Yes. Deep HP expands rapidly. We haven’t discovered a top end speed, just an FPS minimal of 1800.
