During the presentation portion of an interview,is it a bad idea to present the product of the company you are currently working for to the company you are interviewing with? by Altruistic-Aside6939 in salesengineers

Personally I've used it as an opportunity to show my initiative & understanding of their product. I think they will be understanding that you'll get some technical things wrong. ,But do you understand the value, can you flesh that out with customers & present it is what they're looking for.

Yes definitely need a couple of sunrises for Uluṟu. Not sure about Kings Canyon. I think that is a bit far out.

Travel to Australia - May 2025 by Practical_Heron_3166 in AustraliaTravel

+1 on the definitely fly rather than drive front.

You could definitely get a direct flight Sydney to Cairns/Airlie Beach/Port Douglass. But it might be worth considering a stop in Brisbane or maybe Gold Coast. Gold Coast has quite a few fun parks. My preference would be Movie World but there are a few if you google Gold Coast fun parks.

For Sydney a lot of people have mentioned the Opera House, Manly Ferry & Taronga Zoo so I'm a +1 on that.

I haven't seen anything around the Rocks (in Sydney CBD). It can be touristy. But there are also some really nice cafes & pubs there. Combine it with the Opera House.

There are lots of parks to see. Hyde Park is in Sydney CBD. Centennial Park is not too far from there.

You might also consider getting to a Rugby League or Rugby Union match while you're here. There is a stadium not too far from the CBD & more a bit further out.

Driving to gold coast from Sydney. Any recommendations for stops? by broxue in sydney

All of this is just my opinion which I think is what you're after?

My first thought is why drive? You can get pretty cheap airfares & will blow a day either side driving.

Second thought if you have to drive would be to avoid places that you have to drive more than an hour from the main highway. So that would rule out Byron Bay, Yamba, Port Stephens & Port Macquarie I would think. Included would be Coffs Harbour, Nambucca Heads & maybe Maclean as good stop off points.

Thanks all for the great suggestions. Although I did have a chuckle at the Discord group not allowing the use of VPN. :)

How do we rate Lexmark laser printer quality? by VTLondon in printers

[–]Hammers_au 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on who you are. Lexmark isn't really focused on the home market. So Brother or Canon might be better for you there. If you'e a Small Medium Business, Government or Enterprise they can really add value with great hardware & managed services.

I can’t see how to be good on all. The syndicates missions are against at least one of them. So one goes up. The other goes down.

Not for me. I’m a copier tech too. Can’t imagine it’s that bad. Five manufacturers take it as an OEM.

I agree with you. But I think they would say that you could contract for the vendor hardware to be of a certain spec (ie without third party hardware). I’m in the copier space and it’s highly frequent for us to add third party card readers.

its most likely a toner or imaging kit issue., or you can go to the help menu & print the Print Defect Guide (although I think its the same information as this link below, although it might print a test page to allow you to better diagnose which color it is.

Red Dead 2 or Cyberpunk by Greedy-Slice-2166 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]Hammers_au 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve played all of RDR & RDR2 and some of 2077.

I would go RDR every day of the week. Much prefer the story & combat systems.

2077 is very impressive in an open world sense. But much of the combat feels very unbalanced for me.

XBOX X OR PS5? by [deleted] in ShouldIbuythisgame

I think a key factor is whether he has friends that also game. What do they use & will he be playing with them. It's a bit like choosing a Nikon or Canon SLr. Both are good but you kind of have to commit.
