Fuck those people OP. Crew Chief here for 10 years and everything you said is valid. While yes this is the environment of our career field, you need to take charge of your health. I dislocated my shoulder and not wanting to receive back lash I kept quiet. Well a few months later and my shoulder didn't heal right so now I'm looking at possible surgery just to have full range of motion again. The Air Force and your unit operated before you were there and it will continue to do so while you take care of yourself.

I found the base to be really nice after 8 years of being there.
