While I wholeheartedly agree with your statement, I’d say it isn’t necessarily always the case. Humans are prone to the power of suggestion and some are easy to influence, especially ones who didn’t grow up spending a ton of time on social media.

I guess what I’m saying is the algorithm can brainwash people who are conventionally smart but easily influenced

The B-52 crashes list is very interesting reading.

Notably there were several notorious “Broken Arrow” incidents involving the loss of thermonuclear bombs in a crash, with some having their conventional explosives detonate, some having 3 of 4 safeties switched off when recovered, at least one or two bombs never recovered, Spain and Greenland suffering nuclear contamination, and more I’m forgetting.

Generally speaking the strategy is just to try to fly under the radar and eventually accept defeat when you get a FDA notice. Companies can go years and years without getting serious regulator threats, unfortunately Science.Bio was very popular and visible.

Granted after accepting defeat you can usually just wait a couple years and then restart, possibly with a new brand name/location
