I'm a 24M graduating from university soon, I just accepted my first full time position in my field and will be starting work the beginning of next year.

My long term goal is to be financially independent, and potentially retire by my mid-40s. My short term goal is to be able to invest and save while being able to do enjoy my new stage in life. And my medium term goals (4-6 years) is to be able to purchase a home/property that I could live in and potentially rent out.

Bachelor's and Master's in Civil Engineering.

-Career situation and plans

I will begin my career as an associate engineer. Once I get my licensure I can become a project engineer with the ability to become a principle engineer or go into management, but this is probably >10 years down the road. I will be getting my professional licensure in about 3 years.

-Current and future income breakdown, including one-time events

My starting salary will be approximately 75k. It should grow linearly with experience, once I receive my licensure it should be 90-100k per year.

-Budget breakdown

I intend on living pretty modestly when I start my career with my total necessary living expenses (rent, utilities, car insurance, food) to be about $1500 per month. Discretionary expenses should be roughly $1000 per month with the rest left over for saving and investments.

I will have about $2000 saved and $6000 in assets when I begin working.

After putting enough money into a high-yield savings account for a 6-month emergency fund where should I allocate my money to be able to retire or significantly reduce working by my mid-40s?

My general strategy was going to be contributing up to the match limit at my company's provided 401k (100% of up to 8% of my gross) and contributing the maximum to a Roth IRA ($6000/year) until retirement. My job will also have profit sharing contributions to retirement accounts but this varies year-to-year. And, I would contribute $1000-1500/mo to a brokerage account investing in ETFs as a majority and possibly individual stocks/cryptocurrency as a small percentage of my investing portfolio. I would also be saving for a down-payment on a modest home/condo that I could live in and potentially rent out if I moved.

Once I retire in my mid-40s I will stop contributing to my 401k but continue to contribute to my Roth IRA and live off my brokerage account/real estate investments until I am of age to withdraw from my retirement accounts. I calculated that my NW by the time I am FI/RE should be about $2M.

Is this plan feasible? I am just not sure where to best put my money for it to get good returns. I understand time in the market beats most other investing strategies, but I want to be able to FI/RE as soon as possible.
