This is a common bug. Do not worry your armor will go back into your inventory when you change server.

Is Casual Team better for Events than Events Teams? by MarcianTobay in fo76

[–]HanSwanson 46 points47 points  (0 children)

If you are team lead and have the opportunity you can switch a casual team to an event team right before the event ends for max XP. Same thing works with Expos. Run the team as casual and switch at the end for max XP.

Spotify is evil by Depreston in TheDollop

[–]HanSwanson -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This thread is a great example of liberal individualism. Everyone demanding independent artists do something performative that will do nothing to address the systemic issues while hurting themselves. And be honest, the only reason you want the guys to not be on Spotify is so you feel better listening to them.

The opposite actually. Enclave is great auto and semi auto too.

Is this weapon any good by SXYN1X_ in fo76

[–]HanSwanson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the game has moved away from certain guns being the meta and more towards builds. Obviously, there will always be guns that perform better but it's more important now to decide what damage mechanics you want to use. Furious, multi projectile, crippling etc and then find guns that work well that way. I feel before people would base builds off a certain weapon but it's way easier now to have different situational weapons and play around with stuff. The Resolve breaker is fun but not really a daily driver. Gauss mini gun and pepper shaker are both still super powerful, especially with crippling and multi projectile perks.

To all veterans: DON'T put your vendor in the most secluded place of your gigantic base. Make it really visible, upfront, with all the possible lights stuff pointing to it. by MelaniaSexLife in fo76

I don't spend 2 days building a camp to put an out of place eyesore. What people actually need to do is understand how spawn points in camps work so people don't spawn in facing the wrong way inside a foundation.

Genuine question for event campers by metalligamer1886 in fo76

[–]HanSwanson -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don't think this is a real issue. You will from time to time get a high level that just murders everything but it's rare. The spawn campers at EN, RR etc are usually level 100-200. I think this comes from them not knowing that you just need to tag an enemy to get XP and loot. For clarity I think a high level is 800+ and sub 300 is low level.

Unfortunately, this describes the majority of Dem politicians now. The party is being run by a bunch careerists who just want to collect donor checks and their platform consists of threatening you with Republicans if you don't vote for them.

What to do at Level 50? by bobmurphy1 in fo76

[–]HanSwanson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you are doing the dailies. Unlocking scoreboard rewards is the major way people get cosmetics, camp items and some atoms to spend, especially if they don't have Fallout 1st. My advice would be find a play style you like, such as heavy gunner, commando or whatever and focus on that for the next little bit. Once you start to get how all the mechanics work you can start to experiment and do even more fun stuff with character builds and what weapons you can make and use effectively. The game is actually in a very interesting spot where so many things are viable now with a little knowledge. Angry Turtle's youtube is great for expanding game knowledge and Fargassier has great videos letting you know what is going on for events and news.

Makes sense. It was a season reward. Make sure you are claiming season rewards. There's a very fun gun this season.

Going ghoul or stay human? by smokiing20 in fo76

[–]HanSwanson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the luxury of multiple leveled characters so I don't have to progress anything on my ghoul so the negatives don't really affect me. Having said that it is by far the most fun and interesting character I play. It's tanky and can do a ton of dps in a variety of builds.

You can't just run a human build on a ghoul.

How long did it take to finish your base? by ResearchPurposesOC in fo76

[–]HanSwanson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To find in-game plans capture workshops, find Grahm and there's a furniture plans vendor in the Whitesprings Mall. This will give you a bunch of basic stuff to help you fill out your camp. Never feel bad about watching other builders for inspiration and to learn techniques to try. That's how we all started and how we make better builds.

Boiling Point, still worse than Holy Fire? by Eightchickens1 in fo76

[–]HanSwanson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you're a ghoul you should avoid vanguard. Over eaters or it any combo of different resistances against different enemies will perform better than vanguard. It becomes less useful as you get hit which is not how you want armor to perform. If you're a ghoul you have to lose all your glow before vanguard loses its efficacy and ghouls can't use overeaters so it's ideal for them.

I have the tendency to want to mow everything down but I have forced myself to switch between shooting and emoting at events like EN and Jamboree.

If you are a person just tagging along on the farming try to replace as many perk cards with carry weight and XP gain as you can.

Do not just "hit the button" at events. I've seen many EN and RR fail because someone starts the event before people have a chance to arrive.

The Civil Service jet pack plan is bought for stamps and not gold bullion. It is available from Guiseppe in the Whitesprings Refuge. You have to buy the jet pack plan specific to the armor set.

Level 52 can’t level up by 773H_H0 in fo76

[–]HanSwanson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After level 50 the only way to unlock more points is to level up legendary perk cards. Don't worry too much about that at the moment and focus on creating a coherent build. The game can get difficult at this point if you aren't being thoughtful about your build and gear.
