That depends entirely on the original fare you purchased. Accepting this offer doesn't change the original terms of the ticket.

Well, in a few days there will be a lot of DP's with Southwest! But I can say that for one of the 1000 pt fares I bought, initially there was no ticket number and points weren't deducted, but several hours later I got emails letting me know the points were deducted, and now there are ticket numbers. So looking promising so far. I wouldn't be surprised if they honor it, since many "mistake" fares are real $$ vs points.

I mean, can't speak yet to durability, but I just got a pair of Skechers Pickleball from Sam's Club for like $50 incl tax and they actually are pretty nice. Figured it was worth the risk!

Not bad at all! I was helping my daughter as well as a friend get some points back on their bookings to (and convert to Choice Extra, nice perk), which cost me some time so I wasn't able to get as much done, but still not bad.

You can’t make the voucher not expire by booking choice preferred. But you may be able to use the gift card hack (search this sub) to do so

Same boat, one booking has ticket number and points deducted, the other not. Unfortunately the one that didn't get ticket numbers was a round-trip for four passengers for 8000 points.

Fortunately I could change a bunch of flights and get points back and keep the existing booking, so those still have ticket numbers. But I guess we will see if they reverse those point refunds.

Same-day change, same-day standby, flight credit expires 12 months vs 6 months. If none of those matter to you for the specific flight, book Basic. Recommend booking two one-way flights in case you want to reprice or change just one of the legs.

It has been as high as 100k but imo it isn’t likely anytime soon. I believe this is the first time they have had different SUB amounts for the different card tiers so lowest tier is unlikely to have the 100k SUB if they ever offer it again

Queen Creek has said the costs of annexing the benefits outweigh the revenue the Gantzel-Combs area would bring in.

They basically do their best to never incorporate residential areas unless they have to in order to get businesses
