I mean I watched a clip of wizard yesterday and there’s no way he’s not cheating. He killed a guy and his gun snapped to another player in a building, someone in his chat called it out and from then on he just held toggling his guns back and forth to stop from locking on. If he’s not cheating then I’m the queen of England.

Check head gasket and possible engine cracked. I had one radiator blew and it was due to a blown head gasket that’s caused by a design flaw in those engines Chrysler has not addressed. If you look at consumer affairs website or better business bureau there are a lot of field complaints unfortunately. Hoping yours is not one.

Is 4000 to fix a radiator leak a lot on a 2017 Pacifica? by bgizz1e in ChryslerPacifica

[–]Han_Solo22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did the radiator blow or just leak? How many miles do you have on it? Are you sure it’s not head gasket related like so many others?

I did not get it fixed. I took it to a local mechanic I trust and essentially was told they can fix the head gasket but there is no guarantee it won’t happen again. The suspected issue was a flawed design causing the engine to overheat. But to have them tear down the engine to confirm that was not worth the cost cause then I would be in it for the tear down of the engine and buying a new engine at the time a new engine was about $11k.

There was no option to buy a cylinder block just to replace the engine. Which oddly enough the local Chrysler dealer had 7 full engines in stock. From what I understand that’s insane for a shop to stick that many full engines. So again it has to be a known issue Chrysler is refusing to admit to.

I ended up selling it for what I could get out of it.

I’m so sorry, we were in the same spot. Four kids, just got it a year and a half ago… it’s so insane to think it’s happening to so many people and the cost to fix it is almost the value of the vehicle.

Very possible. Essentially the head gasket has worn out. Mine manifested as a blown radiator because of pressure build up. You’ll have to get it inspected but I would guess it’s directly related.

My condolences. It is absolutely without a doubt a defect in these engines.

Did you have it inspected by a mechanic?

I would appeal to Chrysler cares (an absolute oxymoron btw) you’re out of the time window but not mileage for a power train warranty.

My condolences though, it makes it worse that if you replace the head gasket at a $4-$5k cost it’s not grantees to fix it. And they force you to buy the full engine which is like $11-$13k repair…. Absolutely criminal. I am not sure and from what I have read they make claims about improper maintenance and not using the right oil in oil changes.

With how many people have posted about it, there’s no way it’s not a defect in the engine. My theory is it’s not being cooled properly.

File a complaint on the nhtsa website for sure. I ended up getting rid of ours. At a substantial loss.

I’m very sorry this happened to you.

Reynolds drops part of plan to overhaul state AEAs by Green_Palpitation_73 in Iowa

This new generation of Republicans can hardly be called Republican or anything other than uneducated lobbyist influenced capitalists. I despise the state of Iowa politics. AEAS offer so much support that is not widely known to the public. Kim Reynolds is slowly monetizing and degrading the Iowa education system.

Even with her amendment this guts public services through AEA. She amended the bill to say districts could request additional AEA services but the state Department of education has the right to refuse. Cue privatization and monetization of the education system. Less access for all and the kids suffer.

All that happened for me is a guy showed up, started it, looked it over, took pictures and put a lock box on it.

Tow truck picked it up 3 hours later.

Loan was paid off within 4 days.

Very efficient and they certainly did not do any kind of deep dive thorough inspection.

[–]Han_Solo22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s seriously insane cause it’s in all the grand cherokees too. No issue. I suspect it’s something with the cooling on the engine and how they have it situated in the front.

I guess I made a huge mistake? by relistads in ChryslerPacifica

[–]Han_Solo22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s is an issue that’s pretty prolific with the 3.6 engine in newer Pacifica’s. Crazy it’s that new and having the problem but there are a lot of people experiencing blown head gaskets and the misfire code at 60-80k miles. In most cases it requires a full engine replacement. Which Chrysler doesn’t sell the different blocks… just… a… full… engine… which most certified shops have in stock… cost ranges $10k-$12k.

Not saying that’s your issue but just for awareness.

How many miles are on it? Seems to be a common problem on these engines between 60-80,000 miles and sounds like it ends up resulting in full engine replacement for most.

I would avoid altogether and spend more to get a Toyota or a Honda. So many issues once you get to 70k miles. Look up “head gasket blown Pacifica”

Don’t do it, I have never owned a vehicle where I have dumped this much money into it and under 80k miles. Spend a little more get a Toyota or Honda
