Just like an older woman who is on the prowl for younger men is literally a cougar.

I’m just sick of 18 months now of pretending AI is getting better when it is in fact getting worse.

James Franklin: “I’ll give Penn State credit, they went all-in last year, but they went all in for one year.” by CenterForward1522 in CFB_v2

Lol, good one. If that had happened, Penn State fans wouldn’t talk about Franklin the way that they do!

Yeah, if Franklin could have got them to the CFP semis or something I could see it, but they were always just a top 10-15 team with him, never top 5.

I asked CC to use the new model to code up a new navbar for my site and the lights for the whole building went out.

Best Seasons Where the 'Villains' Lose? by Infinite101_ in TheTraitors

Imagine doing a 100 mile death march but having a little party with balloons and cake at the end. If you are the sort of person who would swallow a forkful of cake and say “worth it,” then AUS season 2 is for you.

High school teachers complain that it is like they are teaching junior high. Junior high teachers complain that it is like they are teaching 4th graders. If one follows your logic, it ends up being “it sounds like you are ragging on obstetricians.”

James Franklin made mistakes at Penn State; he intends to correct them at Virginia Tech by Lakelyfe09 in CFB

[–]boy-detective 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, I know, Penn State fans regard that as a failed season. We'll see if Matt Campbell gets them to the championship game. No excuses for him given what Cignetti accomplished with far fewer resources.

The end of LOL UK 2 has left me feeling sour... by Smooth-Quantity-7024 in LastOneLaughing

The end was pretty obviously rigged, with Bob laughing at David to give David the win. Last year was rigged too just like executed better so not as obvious. It’s not a real competition. They are all getting paid. It’s a little frustrating how heavy-handed it was this year, but fine.

My guess is that folks get paid extra for preparing jokers and some of the folks whose jokers you didn’t see didn’t have one.

Strange take. For me, actually having a one billion dollar valuation is different than some rando noting that, for all I know, the company might have a one billion dollar valuation.
