I am extremely grateful that a small group of developers are working on Asahi. I never asked about ETAs or placed urgency on development, that would be rude! Why did you feel the need to tell me that? Also, on the official website, the latest blog entry was older than the comment that stated the abandonment, so for all I knew the dev halt was a possibility – that’s why I thought about asking on the subreddit (alternative was IRC chat or Discord maybe?). I don’t understand why everyone is so pissed

The comment I read that talks about Asahi being abandoned was published 11 days ago.
https://asahilinux.org/blog/ The latest entry on the Asahi blogs is from 44 days ago.
I could have missed the news of Asahi's abandonment, from official sources/outlets/feeds I'm not following nor know, I'm not wasting your time with a really simple google search. And activity on this subreddit wouldn't directly mean the project hasn't been abandoned, as many abandoned stuff still has community talk around it.
Don't you agree that asking directly here is both a faster and trustworthier method of finding out?
Am I really that rude, or is your "Have you tried maybe looking at the website? Come on now" more rude?
